"Can I have this dance" JP asked Gigi in a very low tone.
The night has just began.
Everyone are having fun in this school event, the JS Prom of S.Y. 1993-1994.
Gigi raised her head slowly to check who's asking her for a dance.
She was rejecting everyone asking her for a dance because she only wants one person to dance with.
And to her surprise, he saw JP.
JP is her ultimate crush.
He was looking at her sincerely, with a bit of smile in his face. His almond eyes are so expressive, feels like talking to her.
The disco lights were dimmed, but JP was so radiant in her eyes.
Gigi's heart stopped beating.
She became deaf, not even hearing the background music that was playing.
She became numb.
Gigi felt sweat all over her hands.
And yes, there's really butterflies in her tummy.
Gigi realized that it's taking her a while to answer, when she can just grab his hands to the dance floor, and dance all night with him, with only him, JP.
She finally said yes, with a big smile.
And it was lovely.
