I finally got to my own home in the Shire, made specially for me by the Hobbits. Everything in my home was made for me, I was ever so grateful, that once a week I would come here to sing to the children and hold a small party for the elder hobbits.

I got some food ready for myself and some snacks and drinks for the dwarfs, I knew they'd come at some point. I settled on my chair by the fire and thought back to when I was on earth and when I saw the movies based on this journey, and how it ended. I had cried when Thorin, Kili and Fili died. I wanted to make sure that never happened, no matter what. If I had to take their place I would.

I went and got my guitar and sat back down. I knew a song they'd like so I started strumming the notes. Gandalf came in followed by the company. They sat or stood around and watched me intently.I began singing:

Oh, misty eye of the mountain below
Keep careful watch of my brothers' souls
And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke
Keep watching over Durin's sons

I looked at Thorin as I sang the last line, putting my heart into the song and words, hoping he will know I am in this till the end.

If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night

Calling out father oh
Stand by and we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side

I let few tears down my cheeks, feeling their anguish.I closed my eyes and poured my soul into the song.

And if we should die tonight
Then we should all die together
Raise a glass of wine for the last time

Calling out father oh
Prepare as we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
And I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze
And I hope that you remember me

I opened my eyes and looked to Kili and Fili and smiled a bit.

Oh, should my people fall
Then surely I'll do the same
Confined in mountain halls
We got too close to the flame

Calling out father oh
Hold fast and we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky

I closed my eyes once more, letting the tears stream down my cheeks. When I opened them I looked at Gandalf for approval, he nodded and so I continued singing.

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze
And I hope that you remember me

I shut my eyes again and cried as I sang the last verse and course. Letting loose my own pain of losing my parents in the fire.

And if the night is burning
I will cover my eyes
For if the dark returns
Then my brothers will die
And as the sky is falling down
It crashed into this lonely town
And with that shadow upon the ground
I hear my people screaming out

Now I see fire
Inside the mountains
I see fire
Burning the trees
I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze

I see fire (oh you know I saw a city burning out) (fire)
And I see fire (feel the heat upon my skin, yeah) (fire)
And I see fire (uh-uh-uh-uh) (fire)
And I see fire burn auburn on the mountain side

As I strummed the last notes, I looked to Thorin and then Gandalf. I took a breath then put my guitar down and smiled a weak smile.

"There's wine and ale in the kitchen for all, also lots of food. Please, help yourselves." I told them.

Most of them got up and left to get drink and food. Kili, Fili, Balin and Thorin stayed along with Gandalf. I knew they had questions about the song. I wanted to answer them, but I couldn't right now.

"I'm going to let Methen in then take a relaxing bath, then I will talk to all of you." I said as I got up and went to the door. I called for Methen and once he was in I closed and locked the door and went to the bathroom where my bath was waiting with steaming hot water(magic :) I love it)with some lavender candles lit to make the room relaxing and smelling nice.

About 30 mins later I decided that I had been gone long enough, and got out and drained the water. I got dressed into my night dress and walked out with my brush and some hair ties. I sat in the chair by the fire once more with Methen by my feet. I started to brush my hair but sadly it was slightly tangled at the bottom and my hair being so long I couldn't get the brush through some tangles.

"Here, allow me to help you, My Little Angel. I believe you need a trim as well." said Gandalf. He grabbed my brush and went to get my scissors from my bathroom. He came back and started to brush my hair and trim it.

"How did you do it? How did you get the flames to play out what happened that day?" Asked Dwalin.

"One of my gifts." I replied.

"Was that song for us Angelina?" asked Kili from behind me making me jump slightly.

"Yes, Little one. I wrote it after hearing of your troubles and Smaug. I can only hope that it didn't offend anybody. I lost my parents in the fire that day. Gandalf told me my mother left me in the forest not far from there and went back to get my father and help, but she never returned. It was 2 days later that I was found and sent to another world. In that world there's a book, and it had something similar to what Smaug did and I helped a friend write the song." I lied a bit, but they couldn't know about the book or movies being about them. Not till before the Battle or when the time was right,

"I also wrote another song, it was about when their journey ended and a few people died giving their lives during a battle they faced. Wanna hear it?" I asked them. I noticed all the dwarfs were back in the room. "I can sing a few songs for you guys too. I also know the Misty Mountain song too, but that song is for you guys."

I got nods and "of course" and some very loud "yes's". So I went to my piano and opened my book for songs and lyrics. I started to stroke the keys for The Last Goodbye:

I saw the light fade from the sky
On the wind I heard a sigh
As the snowflakes cover
My fallen brothers
I will say this last goodbye

Night is now falling
So ends this day
The road is now calling
And I must away

Over hill and under tree
Through lands where never light has shone
By silver streams that run down to the sea

Under cloud, beneath the stars
Over snow and winter's morn
I turn at last to paths that lead home

And though where the road then takes me,
I cannot tell
We came all this way
But now comes the day
To bid you farewell

Many places I have been
Many sorrows I have seen
But I don't regret
Nor will I forget
All who took that road with me

Night is now falling
So ends this day
The road is now calling
And I must away

Over hill, and under tree
Through lands where never light has shone
By silver streams that run down to the sea

To these memories I will hold
With your blessing I will go
To turn at last to paths that lead home

And though where the road then takes me,
I cannot tell
We came all this way
But now comes the day
To bid you farewell

I bid you all a very fond farewell

And with that we all went to bed to get some sleep and prepare for the long roads ahead.
