Brie's P.o.V

My phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Brianna what the fuck?!" Dean yelled.

"What?"

"You told Renee I was with AJ?"

"No."

"Then why'd she say you did?"

"When did she claim that I told her?"

"Last night while you were drunk."

"Well, I was drunk."

"Goddamn it, Brie."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine I guess, I didn't think she'd find out."

"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked.

"Renee was one of the best things that's ever happened to me."

"Dean, all good things in life, eventually have to come to an end at some point in time. If it's meant to be, it will be. Renee needs some time to heal. Also, you know when you cheat, you'll get found out eventually."

"Like you?"

"I have a few more days to live it up. Also, Jonathan, there has to be a reason as to why you jeopardized your relationship to be with AJ. I want you to walk me through what happened last night."

Colby: Hey

I shrugged and didn't reply.

Just because we had a conversation doesn't necessarily mean that I want to talk to him.

My eyes kept lingering over to my phone.

I grabbed it and text him back, I must've been staring at my phone for a while.

He replied instantly.

Colby: Do you want to hang out today?

I'm not really doing anything today.

Would it be good to hang out with him?

Me: Maybe another time.

Colby: Are you avoiding me?

Me: What makes you say that?

Colby: Ever since our conversation, you seem like you don't want to talk.

Me: That was two days ago, calm down.

Colby: Two days! Brianna, if you don't want to talk, just say so.

Me: I wasn't trying to give you that impression.

Colby: It really looks like it.

Me: Whatever.

Colby: Brianna

I read it, then he started texting me at a million texts per minute.

Me: WGAT

Me: WHAT

Colby: You can't spell

Me: Shut up.

Colby: We can go to a restaurant.

Me: ...

Colby: Please? I'll pick you up! If you don't like it, we don't have to do it again.
