Episode 13: The 'Real' World?

~~Y/n's POV~~

My body jolted up at my head hit something hard. I fell back onto what felt like a bed, holding onto my head.

M/n: "Y/n, are you okay?"

Y/n: "Y-Yeah, I'm okay mom!"

Wait, mom? My eyes bolted open as I saw that I was laying in my bed, and that I hit my head on the ceiling. It made sense, at my house I had a standard loft bed. I sat up and led myself down the ladder. I looked outside to see that I was indeed in the real world. But living in the yugioh world felt real. I guess this is what the protagonists in an Isekai anime feel. I did my normal morning routine before heading off to school. 

School was boring like always until lunch. I sat outside just like I always did and ate my lunch. That is until my best friend, Yusuke, walked up to me. Yusuke is a boy with purple hair and walked around wearing a grey hoodie with a denim vest. He is also a fanfic writer who usually writes Yugioh fanfics, but has a hard time deciding on a deck.

Yusuke: "Hey Y/n. How have ya been?"

Y/n: "I've been good. Just... a little tired."

Yusuke: "Eh, I've been working on a few fanfics."

Y/n: "Which ones?"

Yusuke: "So you know my old GX story?"

Y/n: "The one you discontinued?"

Yusuke: "Yep, that one. I've been working on trying to write a newer version with a different deck than the ones in GX normally have."

Y/n: "Alright. Which decks is it?"

Yusuke: "Ummm... It's a Utopia number deck, Galaxy-Eyes, Stardust Junk, or a Red Dragon Archfiend deck."

Y/n: "Sounds like a tough choice..."

Yusuke: "I know!" T~T

Y/n: "Normally I'd say choose what you feel like doing... Buuuut that never really helps you..."

Yusuke: "I guess so... Anyway have you caught up on Yugioh Vrains yet?"

Y/n: "Yusuke... I need to tell you something."

Yusuke: "What is it?"

I told Yusuke about what happened to me (even though I left out the part about Playmaker and Revolver being gender-bent, he'd be too jealous.)

Y/n: "And then I dueled Revolver and lost. After I just woke up in my bed even though I don't remember ever going home."

Yusuke: "Hmmm... This is interesting..."

Y/n: "You don't think I'm crazy?"

Yusuke: "We live in a world with Steve."

Steve: "Heyoo!"

Y/n: "Point taken..."

Yusuke: "But if you remembered things between that world that you've never experienced... Then... I don't know... What did that spooky voice tell you?"

Y/n: "That I would be summoned back."

Yusuke: "And what happened to you to get you back here?"

Y/n: "I lost a duel to Revolver."

Yusuke: "And was the Tower of Hanoi active?"

Y/n: "Yes! Did you hear the story!?"

Yusuke: "Then that means your consciousness there is a part of the Tower of Hanoi! Now don't worry. Playmaker will beat Revolver and stop the Tower, freeing you."

Y/n: "So... I just need to wait for Playmaker to beat Revolver?"

Yusuke: "In theory."

Y/n: "Hm... I guess that's so..."

Yusuke: Problem solved! Although there is just one problem..."

Y/n: "My deck..."

Yusuke: "Precisely, here, I have a list of the cards I made over a while. They're all Code Talker supporting things but if Alpha is the attribute we think he is then that one Link monster will help a lot."

Y/n: "Thanks Yusuke. I appreciate it."

Yusuke: "No problem. Also I had another stupid idea."

Y/n: "What is it?"

Yusuke: "A Fairy Tail fanfic, where the male reader character uses magic.... Based on Dark Magician!"

Y/n: "Dude... That sound epic! You should do it!"

Yusuke: "Thanks, I try my best."

I went through the rest of my day like normal until it was time to go home. Splitting up from Yusuke who put a black beanie on his head before leaving, reminding me a lot of Yuto from Arc-v due to the purple in the front and black in the back. On my way home my head started to feel dizzy as my eyes grew heavy.

???: "Your time is up. It's time to comeback."

Y/n: "Oh... Here we go again..."

I felt myself fall but never hit anything. Instead I felt someone shaking me and shouting my name. I slowly opened my eyes to see Yuusaku in front of me, tears falling from her eyes.

Yuusaku: "You're back!"

Yuusaku pulled me into a hug before pulling back and punching me in the arm.

Y/n: "Ow... I deserved that..."

Yuusaku: "That's for worrying me! And this is for being okay."

Yuusaku grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me in for a kiss. We slowly parted and looked into each others eyes until someone cleared their voice.

Cal: "Not to ruin the mood, but welcome back Y/n."

I stood up and helped Yuusaku stand up.

Y/n: "Thanks, it's good to be back."

Cal: "Also I have someone that wants to talk to you."

Cal tossed me the old phone that Alpha was stuck in.

Cal: "He told me your plan."

Y/n: "Course he did..."

Alpha: "Next time don't leave me in a phone!"

Y/n: "You were the one who planned the whole thing."

We put Alpha back into my duel disk as I turned the lock keeping him stuck there off.

Y/n:"There, you're free to go."

Alpha: "Really? You mean it!?"

Y/n: "Yep. Now go on."

Alpha: "I'm Freeeeeee!"

Alpha disappeared from my Duel Disk, heading back to Cyberse World.

Y/n: "What happened to Revolver?"

Cal: "Revolver, or Ryoko Kogami, left. But she'll be back."

Y/n: "I guess until then there's nothing left to do. We can finally relax."

Yuusaku nodded and both her and I left Cal's truck to walk home after saying good bye to Cal. Not shortly after departing, we stopped and looked over the Stardust Road.

Yuusaku: "You know. I have three reasons on why I want to kiss you."

Y/n: "Oh? What are they?"

Yuusaku: "You'll find out."

Yuusaku closed the gap between us, bringing the two of us into a make out session. 

~~3'rd Person POV~~

All seemed right. Back with Yusuke he was busy writing his stories, doing one of the few things that he loves to do. Y/n was back in the world where he feels is his 'real world' and Revolver beaten, the LINK VRAINS is able to rebuild. Ai and Alpha leaving to the Cyberse World, their home.
