i want to forgive you,
but healing is hard to start
when you continue to strangle me
with your cold hand and colder heart.

you blame me for your problems,
saying "I should never have dated you."
you say it like it's my fault,
but i don't remember making you

i still care very much for you,
but this, my friend, is true
i'm more in love with love
than i am in love with you.

just to clarify, some of these poems aren't necessarily about anyone. i just make up scenarios to write about sometimes :)
