Few know the whole story. From what I recall, begins something like this: Before history began, Egypt was the cradle of life. A paradise of gods who created. So they decided to live there...with their lower creation.
Man.
It was impossible to confuse gods with mortals who worshiped them. Gold ran through their veins instead of blood. And could transform at will in all sorts of terrifying beasts...
Egypt was divided between two powerful brothers . Osiris, the god of life, was the beloved king of all the lands that had made fertile Nile.
His brother, Seth, ruled the arid desert... finding strength and bitterness in his isolation. But then came the day when Osiris crowned a new king. Horus, his only son. It was a decision that would test the bond between brothers... and the fate of all Egypt.
But before we get into all of that, let me explain my half of the story.
My name is Rena,
And this is where my story begins.
Rena's POV
The door to my apartment cracked open as I slipped into my home unnoticed. My hair a bit of a mess and clothes damp. I mean come on, nobody said that is was going to rain when I was going home!
I sighed as I discarded my clothes in the hamper. My foot stepping into the warm waters of the bath. Sinking into the warmness. Being a High school student and a team captain of a Track & Field team is no easy task.
Especially since I have to keep up with my grades. At least it's another day done, I flopped down on my couch in a nice burgundy night gown.
*Ding!*
I looked at my phone
Emma: Hi sis!
I smiled
Rena: hi sis, how are you feeling?
Emma : I've been good, I'm about to go take a nap, how are you?
Rena: I'm good
Emma: Ok
Rena: Enjoy your nap
I put my phone down on the coffee table, I closed my eyes and sighed, I looked at my phone to check the time
4:30 pm
I put the phone down, suddenly the tv glitch out "What?" I mumbled Then a portal opened and sucked me in The next thing I knew I was falling from the sky, in an different outfit that wasn't my own

I screamed as I plunged through the misty abyss below. Once through the mist, I looked down to see a figure going up the stairs the a tomb and someone, dead in the chariot
As I came close to the ground, I yelled
"Incoming!"
The person looked up, it was Bek! I crashed into the ground, blacking out

"Your not from here, are you?" Bek said
