I Trust You

The girls were all having brunch in their dining room. Gwen was telling her story about her crazy experience about a date she had gone to last week. All the other girls were into it and laughing up a storm. Meanwhile, Jade is in her thoughts and thinking about Samuel. She's indecisive on whether she should or shouldn't meet up with Samuel.

"And I swear to god, he lasted about 5 minutes," Gwen said.

"That fast? And he was talking all that shit on Tinder too." Scarlett said.

"I mean it happens. They talk big to put up a front. Maybe you were his first." Olivia said.

"Yeah probably. But I met him on Tinder! Why talk a big game and then set a date with me when you know we're probably gonna have sex? Like come on man!" Gwen said.

"Well, what do you think Jade?" Faith asked.

She turns to her left to see Jade staring at her phone.

"Jade?....Jade!" Faith said, trying to catch her attention.

Jade slightly jumps up at her voice.

"Huh? I'm sorry what'd you say?" Jade asked.

"Were you even listening to Gwen's story? It was quite crazy." Faith said.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't listening." Jade said.

"Something on your mind? You've been quiet all morning." Olivia asked.

"Is this about that Shawn guy?" Scarlett asked.

"It's Samuel. And yes, this is about him." Jade said.

"What's going on?" Faith asked.

"Nothing," Jade said.

"Well, it's gotta be something for you to act so differently," Olivia said.

"He wants to meet me," Jade said.

"Where's the problem in that?" Faith asked.

"I've never met anyone off an app. Let alone a guy. I'm just scared." Jade said.

"I'm sure it'll be fine," Olivia said.

"I don't know Olivia. It all just seems so sudden to me. We've only been talking for 2 weeks." Jade said.

"Well did you tell him that?" Faith asked.

"I did. But he just really wants to meet up with me." Jade said.

"Okay...then how about whenever you talk to him again, you just set the record straight? Just tell him it's too soon to meet up and that you're just a little paranoid." Faith said.

"I guess I can tell him that," Jade said.

"And if he keeps pressuring you to meet him, then forget him!" Olivia said.

Jade takes a moment to think about it.

"You're right. I'll tell him. Now Gwen, tell me about this crazy date you had!" Jade said.
