I have jumped onto the backs of the other mutts. Now, I can jump onto the Cornucopia. 

I will kill them.

We break apart, and I am back on the ground. The ground feels wet under my paws. Even upright, my powerful nose can smell the blood. My stomach rumbles, and my cravings intensifies . I go to one side with some others. Our powerful legs hurl us at the three on top.

I will kill them.

They are the reason I am like this. I would have won, if it weren't for these three. I could have made it home. I could have protected Ember and Papa. I could have told them about Phoebe and how she is alive.

It's all their fault. 

We all stop moving, simultaneously. Our powerful eyes lock in on the three on top of the Cornucopia. One of them. Head locking another. The third with arrows. 

We will feast soon enough.

One falls.

Dinner.

Our dinner fights back.

We overtake our dinner.

We drag our frantic dinner into the Cornucopia.

His armor is strong.

His will is strong.

But we are strong.

And our will is stronger.

Soon, we will beat him.

Soon, he’ll be part of the Games.

And our feast.
