It was the D-day. Natasha's heart was pounding very fast. She was both excited and afraid. Would her parents like the party? She was checking the last time decoration details before getting ready.

Her eyes fell on the musical set up and fear covered her face. She was actually going to be singing in front of so many people. What if she forgot the lyrics or fell on the floor. It would be a huge embarrassment. She went to a corner and called Abir.
"Hello, Abir. Where are you?"
"I'm at the hospital. Don't worry I'll be there on time."
Natasha's voice sounded very nervous, "There is still time to remove the musical set up. I'm really nervous. I don't think I can do it. "
"Natasha Khanna, don't you dare do that. We have practised enough and you will be fabulous on the stage. Trust me."
Nat was still not sure, "Yeah? Do you think so?"
"100%. Okay, I have a last patient to attend. I have to go now. So, I see you at the party?"
Natasha sighed, "See ya."
It was finally the evening time. Guests had began to come. Sarah arrived with a sad face.
Nat was shocked seeing Sarah like this,
"What happened? Why are you looking so sad?"
"What do I do else? It was planned that we will come together to this party." Sarah made a crying face.
Natasha remembered, "Oh yeah. So where is Jay?"
"He cancelled it at the last moment. Can you believe this? He called me and said there is some emergency at his office. I'm very mad at him right now."
Nat touched Sarah cheeks, "Don't spoil your mood like this. You are looking very pretty. Come'on "
Abir walked towards them in high speed, "Hey girls please stop your bff conversations for now, because uncle and auntie has arrived. "
"Really? Let's go, let's go." Nat walked towards the entrance.
Both Mr. & Mrs. Khanna were very happy to see the fabulous party decorations and they wrapped Natasha into a hug. They also thanked and hugged Sarah and Abir. After that they started to interact with other guests.
Natasha was looking at her surroundings. She was quite satisfied with what she had done. Most important thing was, her parents liked it. Her eyes fell on Yash who entered the party hall with Suhana. Yash was wearing a black tuxedo and Suhana was wearing a blue dress.
Natasha's smile faded away. She turned back so that they didn't see her. This was the most difficult time, she thought about. But she chose it herself, now she had to endure it. Natasha went to the washroom and wiped her tears very carefully. She came back to the party hall with a smile on her face.
Abir noticed her smiling. He stood there and admired her beauty. Yash saw Abir and walked towards him. As Abir was too busy at admiring Nat, he didn't hear the footsteps of Yash and Suhana. Yash looked at the direction in which Abir was looking. He found Natasha, Yash's heart filled with a strange feeling. He himself didn't know what it was.
Suhana noticed Yash. She got very jealous and grinded her teeth. Then she coughed to draw the attention, "Yash, baby, won't you introduce us?"
Yash and Abir got little startled by Suhana's voice. Then Yash replied, "Yeah. Suhana, this is Dr. Abir. Natasha's colleague and Dad's doctor. And Abir, this is Suhana."
Suhana quickly locked her arms around Yash's and replied, "His girlfriend. "
Abir smiled, "It's really nice to meet you. I think I have seen you once at Yash's house. "
Suhana smiled back, "Oh yes, I remember you too."
Yash didn't say anything. Then Abir asked, "Have you met Natasha or uncle - auntie? "
Yash coldly replied, "No, we just arrived."
Abir looked at Natasha, "There she is. Natasha? Can you come here for a moment?"
Natasha's heart began to pound faster as she walked towards them. She looked at Yash in the eyes. Yash looked at her the same way.
For a moment, they felt like they were not in the reality. They were at some sphere where no one was around them. And they were sinking in the depth of each other's eyes.
