14. Back at home

Katara's POV

I woke up in a bedroom in the house of uncle Iroh. I have slept here before, before everything happened. I tried to stand but I gave up because my head hurted too much. So instead of standing I sat infront of the mirror. I saw a really skinny girl staring back at me (Katara already was a skinny legend tho) her cheekbones were clearly vissible. She looked tired and sad. I tried to stand for the second time and walked out of the bedroom.
I heard chatter from the diningroom and walked in. There I saw Sokka, Iroh, Suki and Toa sitting at the table. Toa? I thought. 'KATARA!' Yelled Sokka and ran to me to hug me. 'You have been uncouncious for a week, you can't tell me that you are tired this whole week' 'you can free me now before you break my bones'. 'Sit down Katara' said Iroh. I sat down and looked up, only to be met with Aang's eyes. I quickly looked away. Toa choughed. 'Uhm Katara, I want to apologize for everything I have done, I am so sorry. I understand if you never want to talk to me again and I will immediately leave if you want me to'. I nodded 'it's alright. I have learned from this experience. And I am sorry too for almost killing you'. Toa smiled and we hugged eachother while Aang looked away and gritted his teeth.

Nobody's POV

Katara sat back down. 'What happened with Ozai and Azula?' 'You problably won't believe it but Zuko and Mai took them on a familiy vacation to regain a bond.' Katara looked beyond shocked. 'Azula really is a nice person, but she is jealous if somebody is better than her' said Ty Lee who joined the group. 'Ofcourse guards came with them, but since they both don't have powers anymore they are not that dangerous' said Sokka. 'How can Ozai change this much?' Asked Katara. 'We think it will be a complete flop' said Iroh 'but Zuko gave it a chance'. Iroh put down the dishes and they started eating.

Katara walked to the balcony in her room and stared to the horizon. Someone knocked on her door. 'Yes, come in'. Aang walked in. 'Who are you?' Asked Katara. Aangs eyes widened. 'It was supossed to be a joke Aang, you have grown and matured a lot, you are almost as tall as Sokka and your face is much more manlier'. Aangs eyes softened and his cheeks turned pink. 'Thanks I guess. I also wanted to thank you for kinda saving my life out there, you know we were almost all doomed. I came here also to apologize I shouldn't have been so selfish and I should have noticed something was wrong. That could have prevented a trauma and you looking like...this. You have lost a lot of weight, do you want to tell what happened?' 'Yes thats okay' They sat down together on the balcony and Katara told the whole story. 'The guard must have been stupid 'yeah he did not even know how to tie the wirst of a person' laughed Katara as she walked to the railing of the balcony. Aang followed her and looked in her eyes. 'I really have to jump to kiss you now' Katara laughed. 'I can still bow to kiss you' Aang smirked and pulled Katara in a long asked passionate kiss.
