Book Covers 2- (IZ)

Here is another lecture on how I made my book cover. It is more like how I did the editing.

It was very hard to be honest, especially for Kariya. If you managed to look into small details, you would have seen Kariya's web technique visible on the cover. To cut the web along with him gave a lot of hustle. Supposedly, you see an insect on grass but the color is green so it takes you a lot of time to distinguish it like a mantis. I felt just like that! I used multiple websites to clearly cut out his layout. I had to manually erase the background color from his web. It was difficult. 

As you see his background stuck to his web so I had to manually and patiently remove the bg. Then, when it was mostly done but not perfect I used another software to clear all the extra color from it since I was going to use a white background for the cover. 

Then we have our king shuu, I fell in love with this aesthetic picture or fanart. I was set to use this picture! His was very simple when I used 3D paint, unlike the website. I kept pondering where I will place him. Then I left the idea for a while. 

And Tsurugi was the easiest out there since his background was even and blend thus my paint app picked the magic tool quickly. But this time I didn't use that lazy butt paint app to overlay their layout as it blurred the cover last time. I used Pica art.

Kirino's was easy too except that I forgot to remove the wordings which were there but somehow I managed to hide them with Tsurugi's coat. But yeah I had to tend to her hairs, I didn't want his hair to be left out. Sorry, I wrote 'she' up there, the story made me use the wrong pronoun for him.

Next to Kariya, Hakuryuu gave me a lot of trouble not because of his background but because no of the fanart has his whole body. Some had the whole body but with different character designs and clothes. He was sloppy or being weird or covered his face. I needed his body till torso so, it was a rough found. I already had this pic but wanted a different one but couldn't find it. My boi ain't that famous, y'all sleeping on such a gem. I fell for his character design at the first sight.

Thus with all the glorious power these hand and eyes could provide for 4 hours, I finally made a cover with a lot of stress, slightly offensive words (directed to the app, no cuss words though), and sheer patience. The result came out good on the website but Watppad really ruined it for me.

My Kokoro is hurt.  Ren disapproves along with me the quality Wattpad provided me even though I kept its margin :(     [Okay if you are reading on laptop then the quality will look rubbish, tell me how it is with phone]

I had a lot of a hard time managing their layout. If I put any one of them in the wrong place especially Shuu, Tsurugi and Hakuryuu then I had to redo it all over again. I first put Tsurugi and Hakuryuu in the front and managed their height so they match with each other and then I pasted Kirino on top of them. Why? Because If I had put Kirino first then her hair was the problem for Tsurugi, he would hide the hair of my precious boi.

Then I had to align Shuu and Kariya. I mean Shuu came first before all of them, to adjust his legs. XD Now I can say it was tough but fun too. Especially managing Kariya with Shuu, they look so real.
