Nicki POV
I was working a night shift and it is now 7 am it's time for me to go home and see my little Andrew I hate being away from my baby
I got a cup of coffee from the cafeteria and drank some while I was still sorting out my files my phone started vibrating in my pocket
I hope it's not Chris complaining about Andrew again
I took it out and it was my dad
Phone conversation:
Nicki: Hey dad
I can't call him daddy cause Chris is my daddy🤭
Dad: Hey baby, are you busy?
Nicki: I'm never too busy for you dad, wassup?
Dad: I have some news for you but I need you to sit down
Nicki: I don't like the sound of that, what's going on dad?
Dad: Your mother is no more
Nicki: What?
Dad: Your mom passed away Nika
Nicki: No no no dad, tell me you're joking
Dad: I wish I was babygirl
Tears started streaming down my face
Nicki: When did this happen?
Dad: This morning, the paramedics just confirmed her death a few minutes ago
Nicki: You know what, I'm on my way I'm gonna be there soon
I hung up and quickly snatched my purse off the table I ran to my car and immediately started driving I didn't stop at any red light or stop sign
I got there and the paramedics and the police were there
I got out of the car and rushed to her body I removed the cover from her face and looked at her
"Mommy wake up" I said shaking her
"Mommy please don't leave me, please wake up mommy I need you" I cried
They lifted me up and my dad comforted me
"She's in a better place Nika, she's resting"
"It's too soon Dad, I still need her" I said
"It's gonna be okay Nika, she's our Angel now" he said
I can't believe my mom is dead I feel so numb

I got home at around 11 am I was exhausted as fuck
"Hi mommy, my name is Andrew" he said coming towards me with a smile
"Hey baby" I picked him up and kissed him
"You missed mommy?" I asked
"Yes" he said then he kissed my cheek
"Mommy missed you too baby" I said
He smiled and hugged me
I guess he can sense that I really needed that hug
"Is sisi home or is daddy home?" I asked
"Daddy home" he said
I put him down
"Chris!" I yelled
He came in looking sexy as hell in those abs during the course of our marriage I'm the only one who has gained weight Chris still looks sexy and the girls have lost some weight I'm the only fatty in the house
