Today is my mom's funeral
I feel numb I never thought I'd bury my mother so soon
"Mama don't cry, big girls don't cry" he said wiping my tears while he was sitting on my lap
He kissed my cheek
The pastor and all the people that knew her said some really comforting words but it wasn't enough I just wanted my mother
I'm lost without her
Who am I gonna ask for advice when I have marital problems?
My heart sunk as I watched her coffin go down
Now I know that she's gone forever

We were now at my dad's house it was time for people to leave and go back home including us
I was in my old bedroom with Meek
"It's gonna be okay, she's with her maker now" he said
I hugged him
"Thank you Meek" I said
"Anything for you baby mama, you know I got you" he said
I nodded and played with my hands
This is very awkward
He lifted my chin and slowly kissed me
This is wrong but it feels so good he grabbed my butt and squeezed it a bit
We heard footsteps and quickly pulled away
The door opened and Chris walked in
"Baby there are a few people looking for you" he said
"Okay I'm coming"
"Thank you for paying your last respect Meek" I said then left him there with Chris
I went into the living room and saw Bey sneaking some biscuits into her bag
"We gotta leave now before it gets dark" Faith said
"Thank you for your support guys it means a lot to me" I said
We had a group hug
"It's okay Nicki you're not an orphan, you have us as your mothers" Bey said
"Thank you Bey" I said
"Anything for you Nicki, you know you're my favourite" she said
"I thought I was your favourite" Candi said
"I've changed my mind, she's now my favourite" Bey said
"Nicki we gotta go but we'll keep in touch" Faith said
"Thank you girls"
"Don't hesitate to call us if you need anything" Thembi said
I walked them to the car and hugged them one last time before they drove off
Meek left and other people as well we also had to leave because I have to go to work tomorrow
"Daddy we have to go now" I said
"It's okay Nika, y'all have a safe trip"
"I'll come back next week so we can clean up and sort out your accommodation situation you can't live alone" I said
"I'll be fine Nika, I'm a grown man I can take care of myself" he said
"Papa is a big boy" Andrew said
