Archie was sitting on his bed, casually changing the strings of his guitar to get them in tune, while flicking through the pages of his notebook.

His eyebrows were knitted together when the door flew open, revealing a smiley Veronica, her raven hair shining in the dim lighting of his room. She made her way towards him, holding a plate with a sandwich on her left hand.

"Ronnie?" Archie chuckled, taking in the sight of her looking all cute in her glasses and also excited about making something for him to eat at the same time, judging by her expression. "I'm back with your dinner as you asked, Mr. Andrews." She joked, handing him the plate.

"This is what you meant by surprising me with your special dish?" Archie studied the sandwich eagerly, trying to hold back a laugh. "It took me a whole ten minutes to make it, okay?" Veronica gasped, watching as Archie took a huge bite.

"Mary helped me while i was looking at this." Veronica grabbed the meal and set the plate aside before shoving her phone in his face and straddling his lap, her thighs on each side of his. "What is this?" Archie mumbled with his mouth still full.

"It's an article." Veronica exclaimed, running her thumb across the corner of his bottom lip to wipe a spurt of mayo that had landed there. "It's about relationship development. According to this, we have to openly name each other's flaws in front of each other to freshen our relationship and fix what annoys our partner about our personality." Veronica explained, throwing her phone away.

"Wow, sounds like a scientific piece." Archie rolled his eyes, running his hands up and down her legs.

"Archie, come on, i want to do this. We both changed after our breakup when you ran away and i want us to do better this time. I'm not willing to lose you again." Veronica batted her eyelashes in an effort to make him give in. It worked.

"You're not playing fair. You're giving me puppy eyes while wearing glasses, which you know how much they turn me on." Archie grinned and leaned down to kiss the side of her neck.

Veronica hummed in pleasure, when his tongue circled her skin, but quickly pulled away. "Focus, Andrews. I'll go first."

"Fire away, babe."

Veronica bit her lip and gazed down at her lap, trying to come up with something. Archie was silently waiting for her, drinking her features in. "Okay, i found it." She spoke after a while, getting his attention.

"The truth is, you're a bit too jealous sometimes, much more than what could be described as normal." Veronica smirked, stucking her nose in the air.

"Whoa, whoa, me jealous?" Archie's nose wrinkled in surprise. "That's not even true."

"Archie." Veronica used her finger to tip his chin up so he would look at her. "Remember when Cheryl had organized that welcome back party for you?" She asked, the corners of her mouth turning up. "Reggie asked if you two could talk and you said 'Sure, after you clean up your shirt' and threw a drink at him."

"That son of a bitch deserved it, and you know it." Archie simpered, causing Veronica to giggle as well. "See, that's exactly what i'm talking about."

"Is it my turn now?" Archie tickled her sides and playfully pinned her wrists behind her back. Veronica nodded and waited for him to speak.

"Well, what annoys me in you is that you're always too forward with me." Archie mouthed with a cocky grin plastered all over his face. "I'm sorry?"

"Yeah, you're always using me for sex, admit it." Archie joked, watching the way her eyes were widened. "You always come to me when you want me to fuck you, we don't even talk that much anymore."

"Hey, that's a lie you scoundrel." Veronica tried fighting his hold, accidentally grinding down on his erection. "It's not my fault if you're always enchanted by my great looks."

"I can prove you i'm right. And, well, you said we're supposed to fix things so i have an idea." Archie released her hands and pulled her closer. "We're gonna spend the next two days just hanging out and treating each other the way we'd treat our friends." Archie suggested, tugging at her shorts.

"You know what? I'm in." Veronica agreed, taking the discarded plate in her hands and feeding Archie a generous bite.

Thursday was Veronica's day. That morning, they had successfully avoided their usual flirtatious and longing stares at the student lounge and throughout the day, Archie heard Betty laughing when Veronica explained she was invinting a friend over after school, meaning Archie.

He figured out her plan later that day, when they were alone at the Pembrooke. His girlfriend had prepared them a skin beautè, asking him to spend his afternoon by painting her nails.

"Ronnie, seriously?" Archie scoffed when she placed a set with ten different colors of nail polish in front of him. "We're hanging out as friends, Archiekins. Do my nails, and then we'll both do face masks." Archie wanted to dash out, but ended up fulfilling her wishes, as always.

Friday was Archie's day. He was training at El Royale when he got a text from Veronica, saying she was coming over to spend time with him.

"Hey there, bro." Archie turned around, finding Veronica standing behind him with a gym bag perched on her shoulder.

"Bro?" Archie scowled and rested himself against the rope, panting hard. "We're spending our day like you'd spend it with Munroe or Reggie, right? So yeah, bro."

A breathy laugh escaped Archie's lips as Veronica excused herself into the changing room and came back after a few minutes, wearing a black sports bra along with matching black leggings.

After giving him a few seconds to admire her, while securing her hair in a tight ponytail, she hopped in the ring, sliding through the ropes.

"Show me what you got, champ." Veronica licked her lips and wore a pair of boxing gloves, getting in a fight position. Archie couldn't help but smile widely at the sight. He approached her, giving her the chance to successfully give him a few light punches across his chest.

"This is getting boring. Are you actually gonna treat me like a real opponent or not?" Veronica breathed out, sticking her bottom lip out.

"I mean, if that's what you want." Archie shrugged his shoulders and in a swift move, he had Veronica turned around and pushed on the ground effortlessly. They both bursted out in laughter when Archie landed on top of her, holding his weight on his knees.

"I won." Archie whispered against her lips, having her wrists trapped behind her back. "That was hot, Archiekins." Veronica teased, biting her lip.

"But you being sweaty on top of me isn't, so get off me." She tried to push him away but his hold kept her still. "So are you, Ronnie. We're both hot and sweaty." He licked her jaw and spread her legs to wrap them around him. "And wet."

Veronica laughed louder this time, and Archie picked her up, slamming her perfect body against the ropes to create more friction as their hips came in contact.

Veronica moaned into their kiss, and pulled away to whisper in his ear. "I certainly hope this isn't part of your training with the boys too."

When their teeth clashed together in a shared laugh, Archie heard someone clearing their throat behind them, turning out to be Munroe, who looked at them while deadpanning.

"Hey, you." Archie put Veronica down, spinning her around. "Don't stare at my girlfriend's ass."

Veronica rolled her eyes for the hundredth time that day. Typical Archie Andrews.
