Archie's eyes wandered around after he parked his car, still not quite over the fact that he was in Time's Square, a place Veronica had told him a lot about in the past. In that past, they were just teenagers in love, dreaming about a life that was never theirs.

But now, Archie was there and so was Veronica. They had the chance to turn those dreams in reality this time, and make up for the past seven years' lost moments.

"Archie!" He heard a soft voice coming from a distance, and even if there were hundreds people around him, he instantly recognized it was hers.

Turning his gaze to the left, he saw his very personal angel practically flying towards him, considering how fast she was going with those high heels, and his breath almost stopped for a minute. He couldn't take his eyes off her, her shining hair, her berry colored lips and the huge smile plastered on them.

He was already smiling hard without realizing it, when she reached him and Archie opened his arms widely, closing them around her tightly as she jumped into his embrace. Both of them shut their eyes tightly, relishing into each other's touch.

"I missed you so much." Veronica sighed against his neck, and that sigh soon turned into a giggle when Archie held her tighter by the waist, spinning them around and not giving a damn about who was staring. "I can't believe you're here."

"I couldn't wait any longer, those two weeks felt like an eternity without you." He complained, pronouncing the last sentence with a dramatic tone that made her laugh. "I fucking hated it."

"You survived the past seven years, i'm sure a few more days --" Veronica didn't get to complete her statement, being cut off by Archie's lips landing against hers. She gasped at his forwardness, gripping his forearm to regain balance while he was kissing her hard, taking the opportunity to plung his tongue into her mouth, smiling when she let out a tiny moan at their contact and responded by passionately kissing back.

Tasting his mouth, she found herself wondering how she was able to live without it each time he was away.

Veronica cupped Archie's face, bringing him closer and pressing herself firmly against him. Wanting to tease him, she tugged at his bottom lip, worrying it between her teeth and pulling a deep groan from the bottom of his throat. That made her back away with a hand on his chest, feeling her cheeks burning at the realization they were mindlessly getting intimate with so many eyes on them.

"We're in public, lover." Veronica smirked, biting back a grin at his flushed face, swollen lips and confused expression. "Save that energy for our hotel room."

"Aren't we going to your penthouse?" Archie blurted out, slipping his fingers over her coat, to rest them on her hips.

Her smile slightly dropped, and she avoided his gaze. "Chad may not be there now, but he still owns it, like he tried to own me. I don't want to go there, at least not until the divorce is out."

Archie shot her a weak smile, pulling her in by the shoulders to place a lingering kiss on her forehead. Once they parted, his index finger trailed down the side of her face to her chin; he gently pushed it up, guiding her to look back at him. "I only want to be with you, no matter where. I want you so bad, that i could even do it on a bench right now." He whispered the last part, watching her expression light up.

"Oh, so you're here for the sex huh?" She raised a brow. "I should've known you only have dirty intentions, but i thought we were taking it slow?"

It was true, they had gone through so much to finally be back together, and they were both scared to fall back into this relationship for many reasons. Their feelings never changed, but they did.
