"Wake up," Meredith said hitting the door of the shower
"I'm up," Malory said from the floor of the shower
"You need to go to the nursing home," Meredith reminded Malory
"Right. Okay," Malory said groggily

"The lawyer has been managing her state with a limit par of attorney as her Alzheimers is advancing. So while she's still lucid enough to consent she needs to sign everything over to you and your sister," The nursing home nurse said
"Me? Look I haven't slept in 48 hours. I'm missing rounds, are you sure anybody here or the attorney. I mean do I really have to be the one to handle this," Malory said
"We're talking about her estate, her finances, her medical care. You really want to leave her life in someone else's hands. Shes your mother," The nurse said

Malory walked into the locker room to see Meredith sitting on the bench in between the lockers
"What's wrong with you?" Malory asked putting her stuff in her locker
"I had to do the heart surgery," Meredith said
"That's good, isn't it?" Malory asked
"My finger nail popped the glove, cut straight through. Malory, what if I punctured Mrs Patterson's heart," Meredith said
"If you had punctured it, you would have known when they preprofused, they got her heart beating. She's okay," Malory said
"So I shouldn't tell Burke?" Meredith asked
"Tell him what. Nothing happened the woman okay, right?" Malory said
"She's okay," Meredith said
Malory sat down and linked her pinky with Merediths as Meredith laid her head on her twins shoulder
"How did the meeting go?" Meredith asked
"They want her to sign everything over to us," Malory told her
"Us?" Meredith asked shocked
"Yeah. While she's still lucid," Malory added
"What did you say?" Meredith questioned
"That I hadn't slept in 48 hours," Malory said almost dozing off

"I popped the glove," Meredith told Burke as Mrs Paterson had heart problems
"What?" Burke asked
Malory stood their shocked and gulped as she saw Mr Patersons face
"In surgery when I was holding it. I popped the glove with my finger nail, I think I may have knicked her heart," Meredith said
"Let's go people," Burke said and they wheeled the patient away

"What were you thinking about. You had every opportunity before I closed her chest," Burke said as he was operating on the patient
"I'm sorry," Meredith apologised
"And then you go and confess in front of her husband. You don't even know if you were the cause. You have no idea," Burke said
"I'm sorry," Meredith apologised
"There. Over here. Look at the wall. Hell of a lot more than a finger nail," Burke said showing Meredith the heart
