I am a traveler,
adrift on the open road.
I am a wanderer,
exploring places unknown.
I have always wanted to
live a life where
I get to roam aimlessly,
without a care.
I would meet new souls,
and learn their ways.
I would learn their songs,
and sing them for days.
I shall explore the forests
and sail the seas.
I shall roam the valleys
and climb the peaks.
I am a traveler,
adrift beneath the open sky.
I am a wanderer,
to roam the world, I'll try.
Alas, this is solely in my mind,
I cannot be so free.
But I shall continue to dream
of where I could have been.
