A/N: Just so you know this chapter takes place in between Chapters 2 and 3. I originally wanted this to take place after Chapter 4 but it wouldn't make sense chronologically.

"Here's your room key, number 69,420." Charlie said as she handed me the key.

"There's THAT many rooms in this hotel?! Just what kind of TARDIS technology are you using?!" I said incredulously, along with the engineers and construction workers I Consumed screaming at the impossibility.

Charlie simply tilted her head at me cutely and said: "'TARDIS'? What's that?" She asked.

"It's from a TV show on Earth. You wouldn't get the reference." I said to her.

"Oh, could we watch it some time?! I've always been curious as to what humans do in their spare time!" She said excitedly.

"Sure, sounds fun." I said to her.

"To answer your other question, the way we're able to fit so many rooms inside is through magic! We simply use a spell that generates more rooms to make up for our overpopulation issue." She explained, though she seemed a bit sad at the last part, regarding overpopulation.

Once I found my room and opened the door this is what I saw:

At first I was wondering how I was going to be able to sleep on the bed without crushing it under my weight. I mean, I can change my density to that of a normal human but it requires immense concentration and I can only do it for thirty minutes at most.

Sighing, I slowly sit down on the bed, surprised to find out that somehow the side of the bed I sat on wasn't flattened by my weight. How is this possible? Perhaps the beds in Hell are imbued with some sort of magic that makes them more durable?

Charlie did tell me that all Demons have the ability to change into a more powerful version of themselves when agitated or to enhance their combat capabilities. Perhaps the beds were designed with this in mind for the Demons that felt more comfortable in their "powered-up" form, so to speak? Can Angels do something similar?

This place is really making me ask a lot of questions.

Oh well, I'll figure it out later. I haven't had sleep in several months now, not that I need it. Maybe I can relax a bit and try to sleep. I thought as I shapeshifted into my sleepwear, got under the sheets, and slowly closed my eyes.

-No one's POV-

Niffty was quickly running around the hotel making sure that everything was clean. She would have turned in for the night if it weren't for the fact that just as she passed a room she heard a quiet whimpering from within.

She slowly backtracked and looked up to see the room number, "69,420" the number plate read. 'This must be Y/N's room.' Niffty thought to herself. She carefully knocked on the door only to not end up hearing a word from him.

Worried, she slowly put both of her hands on the doorknob, twisted it, and dropped to the floor quietly after opening the door.

She slowly walked over to the sleeping Evolved only to see that he was crying and whimpering in his sleep.

"Oh no..." she whispered under her breath.

She placed her hand on Y/N's forehead to see that he was also rather warm. "I have to do something about this." She whispered again. And with that, she hopped onto the other side of the bed and pulled the sheets over both of them.

This seemed to have calmed Y/N down as he had stopped crying in his sleep. "Goodnight Y/N." She whispered one final time before going to sleep. A few minutes later Niffty was awoken suddenly when she felt a weight on her side, that weight being Y/N's arm as he slowly pulled her into a warm embrace in his sleep.

Blushing slightly, Niffty simply accepted her fate and went back to sleep once more.

-The next morning-

-Y/N's POV-

Ugh, never doing that again, I thought as I opened my eyes slightly only to feel a small warmth in between my arms, I look down to see Niffty looking up at me with a wide eye, blushing intensely.

"Niffty?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you in my bed?"

"When I passed your room I heard you crying in your sleep. What happened? were you having a nightmare?" Niffty asked.

"Yeah, actually. It had to do with my father." I said.

"Now I don't mean to pry but, what happened in the dream?" She asked me.

"As I said earlier, it had to do with my father.......he died recently." I told her. Causing her to gasp.

"Oh no, that's terrible!" She exclaimed.

"Don't worry about it too much if I were you, Niffty. I'm dealing with it on my own." I told her, despite meeting her recently I couldn't bear to see such a cute face not smile.

"If you say so...but don't be scared to ask for help if you need any alright?"

"Come on, let's go get some breakfast." I said as she got off the bed and I went in the bathroom to "change". I quickly shifted my clothes into that of my usual attire, waited a few minutes to make it seem like I was taking the appropriate amount of time for a normal person to change, and stepped out.

We both then walked out of the room to get breakfast to start the day. With me closing the door behind me as we walked out of the room.
