John made me write my first poem.
Jimmy, on the other hand,
Made me write a book of poemsJohn made listening to songs, lovely~
But I made a playlist
Which reminds me of Jimmy.Jimmy told me I look beautiful everyday
But always point my imperfections
Told me to be this and that, his preferred optionsJohn supports me for what I do
Jimmy, needs to be reminded
Of what to doI look forward to his messages—Jimmy
But I get none in return
UnfortunatelyJohn looks forward to messaging me
But I don't know the extent
Of his sincerityI found a new self when I met Jimmy
I left my comfort zone and
Had my many firsts for himThey both caught my eyes at first glance.
The other I drew, the other I sang for
John or Jimmy? I don't know anymoreI saw a future with Jimmy
But had it all erased
When John came to meI liked John first.
But when I liked Jimmy,
I was willing to go far for him.
Until, John came running by
Saying it's not too late for himIs it just life's biggest trick?
For me to choose but I don't know
Who to pickJohn or Jimmy?
Guess, time's gonna tell who's the right guy for me.
