ERIS HALCARD was a loner. She had been an orphan most of her life and survival was something she knew, something she breathed.
Part of her arsenal was thievery. She'd stolen speeders, valuables, weapons, nd the hearts of men and women alike. Eris was a natural rebel. She loved breaking boundaries and the rush it gave her. It was addictive.
However, there was one thing she that gave her the biggest rush of all:
The Resistance.
Eris almost thought of the Resistance as a myth. Her foster mother had told her epic tales and she thought they were all made up. But when she accidentally runs into an undercover Resistance member and tries to steal their valuables, she (to her great surprise) isn't punished for her actions, but recruited.
Eris is tactful, smart, witty, and courageous: a perfect set of qualities to bring to the table where fighting the First Order is concerned.
Speaking of which, her first encounter with the galaxy's most merciless and vile inhabitants wasn't exactly successful. With adrenaline pumping through her veins, Eris had made mistake after mistake and somehow managed to stay alive. But when she stared into the steely eyes of General Armitage Hux, she could feel the grasp of death coil around her.
Eris has never been afraid until now. She knows the First Order could been the end for not only her but for the whole galaxy. She's not ready to die just yet. But she's ready to make a difference. And perhaps she might even discover some hidden truths along the way- truths that disappeared with her parents.
Eris is ready to do what it takes and she will fight to the bitter end...
