《You gotta be kidding me!》

looking up at the clear blue sky he spoke to noone in particular "Today is going to be a good day"

"Good day my fucking ass" The H/C male spat bitterly he had just gotten a call from his agency saying he'll need to go on a mission with some hero from another agency, despite it being his day off trudging along the path he cursed under his breath

A sudden chill ran up his spin looking towards the sky it started to rain, Y/N's eye twitched.

Y/N pov

"You got to be kidding me!" I yelled at this point I couldn't care less about if people were around.

I didn't even bring a jacket because of the clear sky in the morning, like what the hell it was sunny a minute ago. (welcome to NZ)

Stuffing my hands into my pockets to keep some heat in my body I continued walking along the pathway

As I walk I see what looks to be a walking skeleton (well someone as skinny as one) and some kid with broccoli hair

Moving to the side of the path I continued on my way still pissed off not paying attention to what was in front I felt something bump into me "WATCH WHERE Y-" looking down I saw the same "kid" from before

"Sorry" apologizing I reach my hand down to help them up,their eyes glint with fear but nonetheless they take my hand

Almost immediately they started apologizing it honestly shocked me most "kids" their age would of walked away or be scared of the person who just yelled at them

I was about to say something before the realization hit me WHAT THE HELL IS THE TIME frantically I check my pockets for my phone

After my frantic search I found it clicking it on I froze the time was 3:47 I had to be meeting the hero at 4:00 normally this wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact it takes 20 minutes to get home

"I'm so sorry but I need to go!" I yelled, sprinting off in the direction of home great add yelling at some kid to the list of shitty things I've done I thought as I ran

Growing tired I started walking it was a sketchy part of the city possibly the worst to stop running

as I walk I hear footsteps behind me I decided to take a turn to see if they'll continue behind me they continued I decided confrontation was not in the picture

I ran all I need to do is get to the main city I thought I decided to change the playing field instead of running on the sidewalk let's try the roof top

I smirked turning to an alley way I see the perfect way up taking a running jump onto a dumpster then jumping again grabbing the roof ledge I proceeded to lift myself

I hear the footsteps coming closer sprinting off I look behind me for a split second long enough to see them use a capture weapon to get up I've seen that before but where? I questioned

Lost in thought I didn't see the jump coming up until it was to late, the moment I saw the ledge I panicked jumping at the last moment

I didn't make it to the other side instead I was now falling all my thoughts stopped my mind was blank what the hell was I supposed to do in a moment like this

Then one thought and one thought only appeared not thinking of the consequences or the "what if's" my body acted on it's own summoning a ball of electricity I sent the charge to my legs

I tried to brace my self as well as I could while falling the ground was so close that it would only take a second to hit it but today was not the day to die

instead of hitting the ground I went up the force i felt was huge but it was better than becoming a pancake on the ground making it to the next rooftop

I continued running almost like nothing happened adrenaline pumping through my veins looking behind I saw them still following

But then I heard it the loud chattering never in my life have I been more relieved to hear a large crowd jumping down into the closet alley I run into the crowd disappearing into the gathering of people in the citys center

As I walked the adrenaline wore off the pain I felt in my legs was huge it felt as if I had been hit with a bus despite that I continued walking
