Rats on a Train

♦Emma's P.O.V.♦

Dream . . .

"Emma I'm your father." said a man with hair like Chase's and eyes like Bree's. The same three kids came in like before. Only this time I recognized them. Adam, Bree and Chase. Also, this time Leo and Mr. Davenport were there. "Emma are you okay?" I nodded my head not knowing what to say. I heard the same ringing again. "What's that?" I laughed. "School."

Dream ends . . .

I fell off of my bed. "Owe that hurt!" I heard laughing. Wait laughing? "Maybe you should sleep in your capsule then Emma." Ugh Chase! Really not now! "Maybe you should try and sleep on a bed then Chase." I glared at him, making him laugh. "Okay just hurry up Adam, Bree and Leo already went to school." Wait, they went to school early? But they hate school? "Wait, they already went to school?"

"Emma you kind of over slept." I looked at my clock. Oh no. "Okay I will be out in a second." I ran into my capsule and a white beam showed. Today I was wearing a purple sundress with a white lace around the waist. I had on purple flats and white leggings and I had on a snowflake necklace and the charm bracelet. My hair was in a pony tale. Yep ready to go. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. "Chase do you guys have the power pellets by chance?" He gave me a bag of them and we started to walk to school.

"Emma we're going to be late for school." I looked at him and sighed. "Okay one time and one time only. Grab onto my arm." He grabbed my arm and I speeded us to school.

"Hey look we made it to school on time Chase." He glared at me and we went our separate ways.

After School . . .

"Okay for training today we are going to freeze Chase, bake Bree and submerge Adam." Okay so freeze Chase. Heat Bree. Submerge Adam. Wait submerge Adam! "I just got one of those tanks from the fair and I want to try it out." I nodded my head in worry for Adam. Is any of the things he listed safe? Chase entered his capsule. "So when it gets too intense give me a sign. Okay Chase?" He did a thumbs up and I pressed the button.

*Phone rings* "Hello? Wow that is great but bad. Okay I'm on it. Bye." Okay what was that about? "Okay my high-speed train went out of control and only I can stop it." Davenport explains to us.

"Okay what was the good thing then?" He laughed. "It's going 400 mph." Wow. *Tap tap* We turned and saw Chase frozen. "Oh great now I have to explain it to Chase." Davenport complains.

After explaining to Chase . . .

"I have no idea how to get this accelerator on the train." Bree and Chase shared a look. "Thinking what I'm thinking?" Bree and Chase stood up and said in union "Our first mission!" Adam looked at them. "I wanna pet pig!" Mental facepalm Emma. Mental facepalm. "No guys it's too risky." Wow this is just sad. It makes me wanna cry. It's like telling a little kid that they can't have candy. After arguing with him a little more I heard. "Okay get in your capsules. I can't believe that I'm saying this but time to upgrade your mission suits." I watched as they stepped out of their capsules.

They looked the same except with a little bit of black on it. The same hot pink and gray in the same place. Yep, that was an upgrade all right. I left with them when Mr. Davenport explained the rules. When we got back in the lab we watched them. After a while we saw Leo unzip the mission bag and came out. Wait why is Leo there! "Uh Mr. Davenport is Leo supposed to be there on the mission?" He looked at me confused. "No why?" I pointed to the screen. "Ah Leo!" I then saw Chase looking through a bag. "Leo, where is the accelerator that we need to stop the train?"

"Oh you mean that metal thing that kept poking me in the butt?" I looked around and found it on the floor. I walked up to the screen and screamed "IT'S RIGHT HERE CHASE!"
