Put me to sleep with your lullabies
Tuck me in and Cover my eyes
Sing me a song about wonderful lives
Over the sounds of these painful cries

Souls fighting over a mere grain of rice
Cover it all up, in a pretty disguise
Let me sleep through our demise
Under the stars and dark night skies

These Melodies don't make you realise
For we hear but can never recognise
But don't you ever have to apologise
Put me to sleep with your beautiful lies
