Chapter 7: They're with us!

Hey Mitsuha, can you meet me at the restaurant We met yesterday?

I sent her the message immidiately and started heading towards the station to catch a train to head there. I know she was gonna agree to come out there so i kinda did not wait for her reply.

Midway through the ride , i was just looking out the window thinking on how lucky I am to be able to find Mitsuha again. I know for a fact that I still retain feelings for her ever since that time , but will it be too early to confess again? Yea it'll be awkward.

*Phone Buzzes*

Text from Mitsuha
Sure! I just headed out from work, I'll be there in half n' hour.

Bingo!

I just put the phone back in my pocket and leaned against the door looking back outside.  The magnificent buildings , I wonder how hard did they had to plan and execute their plans in building it. Man there's some good architectures out there. I'll do my best aswell!

The train started slowing down as the station came into view, I stepped back a bit no more leaning on the door waiting for it to open up.
Finally when the train came to stop and the door opened up , i headed out and on my way towards the restaurant.

Till the time i reached there , it was already 7:30 pm ish. Well i left about 30 mins ago. Hmm , Mitsuha said she'll be here in around 30 mins maybe I'm here first.

"Taki"
I heard my name called out by a familiar voice.

I turned around to see Mitsuha standing here smiling.

"Wait long?" She asked.

"I just got here" i replied smiling.

"Let's head in" i said opening the door for her.

"Thank you" she replied as we headed in.

"Excuse me , can I help you" said the waitress coming up to us.

"Table for two please" I asked.

"I'm really sorry sir , our duet tables are full but we do have a empty 4 seater if you would like" she replied.

"Uhm that should be fine aswell" Mitsuha replied.

"Follow me, right this way" the waitress said leading the way.

After we were settled in and gave our order to her which she took no time in blazing it towards the kitchen , our chats started.

"I landed the job" i said looking at her smiling

"Really?!" She exclaimed in Joy.

"Yeah and thats not even the important part. They said they'll be rebuilding Itomori! Isn't that cool?" I pumped up.

"They're rebuilding Itomori aswell? is this some kind of dream? Us meeting again...and now Itomori being rebuilt?" Mitsuha said her eyes almost watering.

"It sure isn't less than a dream.." I said sighing relaxing back.

"You can't be here without a Guardian!" I heard a voice from my left. I guess Mitsuha overheard it too as we both looked to our left where the waitress was what looked like scolding two kids?

"But we're paying and are hungry" one of the kid protested.

"Then go somewhere else. This restaurant is 18+" said the waitress.
