Chapter 11: Granny's Initial Impressions

[Taki's Pov]

"Now's the last chance if you want to run away" Mitsuha chuckled looking at me.

"I'll deny that offer" Taki replied smiling nervously. 

Look Taki, you're in no case supposed to send off any vibes that might make her sister or granny vigilant. You can't make decisions without thinking about them rationally.

*Mitsuha rings the bell*

Chill out here, take a deep breath and prepare yourself. 

A footstep could be heard getting closer and louder behind the door.

You're a man, take a stand Taki.

The door opened as I saw a rather grown-up Yotsuha. She looked a bit like Mitsuha but also not like Mitsuha? I don't know if that makes sense. Another thing that I noticed that even she grew up to be rather attractive, must run in the family I guess.

"You finally remember where your home is?" Yotsuha asked Mitsuha skeptically.

"Oh shut it" Mitsuha replied.

After Yotsuha was satisfied with her sister's answer, her eyes wandered around before they fell on me. It looked like she was scanning me? scanning me for what, potential kidnapper? 

"So he's your boyfriend that appeared out of thin air?" Yotsuha asked looking at me.

"Hello Yotsuha, my name is Taki. Nice to meet you" I said offering my hand out for a greeting.

She gently held my hand and accepted my greeting, "How do you know my name?" she asked.

"Ah..." I started.

"I told him about you" Mitsuha interjected.

Thank you....

"I see...anyways, come on in you two" she said breaking the handshake.

"Hey, also here" I gave the sweets that I bought along with us even though Mitsuha was telling me not to. You can't go to someone's house barehanded, man cmon.

We two-headed in her apartment, which looked rather big. As we followed Yotsuha, she led us directly into the living room where Granny was sitting on a mat behind a table as if she was waiting for us...or rather me?

Both me and Mitsuha took a seat on the opposite side on the adjacent side of the table, "Granny, he's Taki. Taki, that's my grandma" Mitsuha started, when she looked at me while introducing her grandma her face has a look of "Why am I even telling you this?" or did I read her mind.

"Her big sister, can you lend me a hand in kitchen?" Yotsuha said from the door.

Oh please no...not right now........

"Su-sure" Mitsuha said looking at me with concern as she stood up before she put a hand on my shoulder while going out of the room.

"Hello mam, it's pleasure meet to- I Mean it's a pleasure to meet you" I said nervously bowing.

"Hello Taki, my name is Hitoha. And I only have a question for you, what did you do to my little Mitsuha for the past 2 days?" she asked as I felt a trembling aura coming from her.

"We didn't do anything!! I..I swear!!" I got all nervous.

"Then, why didn't she come back home. She probably spent the night along with you right?" she got a bit angry.

You can't be nervous right now Taki. It's for Mitsuha, just tell her the truth.

"She was in fact with me for the last 2 days and nights but I assure you that we didn't do anything you might be thinking. It's just that I finally found her again after so long- I mean...I..." DID I JUST SAID THIS OUT LOUD? She's gonna think I'm a maniac.
