possibly one of my first good ones I ever wrote.
Its also my favorite out of every single one as of this moment.
So high
So bright
Shining strongly
Through the night
Oh how I wish
I could make a ladder tall enough to reach them
Way up in the sky
It's quiet
A place where the force of a single flap
Of a butterflies delicate wing
Could send you rocketing
Oh what I wouldn't give
For a chance to explore the stars
Letting the darkness of the sky
Envelope me like a soft blanket
Providing me with comfort
A sense of freedom and safety I can only dream of
Oh how calm it must be
To stay in the sky
Next to the stars
I'd bear the temperature
For just one chance to stay
In the sky
So dear stars
Please build me a ladder of stardust
Lead me up into the sky
Help me reach the stars
