I heard someone screaming from downstairs..

What happened? This is my mom's voice.. why is she screaming..

Is she crying? What happened?

I runned downstairs and found my mom crying in the couch, being comforted by my three maids

"Mom, what happened?Why are you crying?" I asked mom

"Oh Jessabelle..i'm sorry" She said

"Mom what happened? Tell mee!" I said yelling

"Your dad went on a business trip... AGAIN. He promised me and you that he would spend more time with us. I don't want my husband always away. i can't do it again. Remembre? We were always alone, he was never with us." Mom said

Oh yes.. i remembered..

"How could he" I said lyeing on my knees

"I.. want a divorce" Mom said getting up and going upstairs

"Mom wait-" I said but she was already out.

"Here baby" Betsey said giving me a sheet of paper

And then my three maids went in the kitchen

Alone i sat in the couch and read the note left from my dad

I'M SORRY LINDLEY, I HOPE THAT YOU COULD FORGIVE ME. I HAVE TO CONCLUDE THE CONTRACT WITH ONE OF MY CLIENTS, I 'M REALLY SORRY. I LOVE YOU. TELL CHILD I'M SORRY

What? How could he? Seriously? Are we going to be again like it was?I can't belive it. But what did i expect? That he would change overnight? I need to call him

And i dialed my dad's number and called him

"Child-" My dad said but i interrupted"How could you?"

"Child, just come out of home, i need to tell you something."He said

"What? You're here? I'm going to tell mom" I said as i begun to run upstairs

"NO! Don't tell her, just come out!"and as dad said i stopped

"Okay.. i'm coming!"I said

I put my shoes on and went out, dad was in the car, under a tree..

Why was he hiding?

I get in the car and said" Dad, what are you doing? Mom's crying!"

"What? I didn't expect her to cry.."He said

"She wants a divorce" I added

"What? It was all a joke, i wanted to give her a diamond's ring and her favourite flowers"Dad said looking behind us

As i looked i saw the flowers and a cake?

"Dad, we all think that you're on a business trip. Joke? You're joke are really bad.. You know that we were suffering while you were away" I said looking at him with a sad face
