There's a dim light moving left to right. It seems far away. Where am I? The light is replaced by darkness.

I hear something. Someone. "...pull the plug. It's up to you."
"No!" A female voice. "I would never...I could never..." She stammers. "I would never be able to live with myself...I can't give up on him..." She trails off. A creak. A door? It opens and closes, then there's quiet.

Humming. I feel someone stroking my hand. The hand is small and soft. The humming is heavenly. A sweet tune. The voice of an angel.

"How is he?" A male.
"The same." The female.
"How are you?" No reply. "Come here," body's shift. "It'll be okay. You'll be okay," a cry. "I know. It sucks. He'll come around. He hast to." A pat. On the back?
"I hope you're right." A sniffle.

"I love you, Tobias. With all my heart, I love you. Over the fence...up to the sky, over the moon...so far away it's unimaginable..." Something touches my cheek and moves after a second. Gentle. I can feel it next to my face, still.
"I love you." A whisper.

Again, I see the lights. They are closer this time, more intense. Then darkness once more. I struggle to open my eyes. I can't manage to do it.
"He's responsive this time. His eyes followed." A male.
"Tobias!" The female half screams. I know that voice. I have to...I have...I have to see her! My eyelids flutter open, only for a second. "Tobias!" This time she does scream.
"Hold his hand." The male. A hand in my hand, the female's, I'm guessing. Not just any female.
"Tobias!" She sounds like she's just witnessed a miracle. "Tobias, can you hear me?" I hear longing in her voice. I want to shout yes and kiss her, look at her. I try to open my eyes. It doesn't work. I try to move my fingers. I manage. "He squeezed my hand!" She says with pure joy.
"This is good," the male "See if he does it again."
"Tobias. I love you. I miss you so much. Can you move your hand again?" There it is again. Longing. 'Yes, Yes, Yes!' My brain shouts. But my hand won't budge.
"We'll try again later. Let's not strain him too much. This is amazing. He may be coming back to you guys.
