Days went by slow for Ashton Irwin. His job at the towns record store was full of teen punk wannabes and old people that thought that records were making a comeback.

As he stood at the old looking counter he heard the bells on the door start ringing, signaling that someone walked in. Without bothering to look up from the magazine that he had been reading, Ashton welcomed the guest. He saw a flash of pink go passed and he slowly looked up. Flipping through old Nirvana records was the most beautiful girl that Ashton had every laid eyes on.

She was staring at the back of the record, as if she was searching for something. He smirked, knowing that she would have to go up to him to pay.

He stared as she moved down the row, grabbing more records. He looked up and down her body, seeing a colorful band shirt and dirty Vans. But the most amazing thing about her was her hair, it was a beautiful shade of pink. He couldn't wait for her any longer. Ashton started walking towards the girl, deciding that he would ask if she needed help.

He stood next to her, not getting too close but close enough so that she knew he was there. She looked at him and flashed a smile. She looked as if she was happy to see him. Her pink hair fell down to her hipbones and Ashton couldn't help but smile at the shirt that he could now tell was Panic! at the Disco merch.

"Do you need any help?" Ashton asked as he leaned against the shelf. She studied his face with her beautiful brown eyes. She shook her head lightly and then looked back down at the pile of records she had been holding.

Ashton nodded and bit his lip. Instead of going back to the counter, he went to lean against the wall that was a good 7 feet behind them.

He wanted to start a conversation with her, but he didn't know what to say. He looked around the tiny shop in search for something to talk about. He quickly looked at the girl again as he saw her making her way towards the counter.

"Are you ready to check out?" He asked as he jogged towards the counter. She didn't look towards him but just nodded her head, hoping that he would see.

Ashton let out a breath as he reached the counter. He watched as the girl placed the items on the small section next to the register. He noticed that her nails were the same color as her hair.

He couldn't help but smile at her music taste. It ranged from shitty pop to old rock. He was very intrigued by her and he didn't really know why.

As he rung up the items and told her the price he complimented her shirt. She smiled and thanked him quietly while grabbing her items.

Then she left, leaving nothing but the ringing of the bells that hung of the door and a smirk on Ashton's face.

He knew he had to find out more about this girl. He just needed her to come back.
