Reunited

Regulus POV

I woke up in James'arms. Merlin was he perfect, which only made me leaving harder.

"Morning reggi" I hear James' tired voice say.

"Hey jamesy" I respond giggling a little and turning in his arms for our faces to be only inches apart.

I slowly kiss him and he leans into it.

"If you don't die, can we be together?" He asks me.

"Only if I still get my mission is accomplished and Voldemort finds an opposing match." I respond hating the response.

"I will try, I promise. I will try my hardest ever to defeat him and his followers. I love you Regulus and I will not let you die in vain." James said with a tears rolling down his face.

"I love you too" I respond climbing back over him and kissing him.

After making out for an hour we decided to get up and get ready for the school day. James said he's just going to go to his room and tell professor McGonagall he's sick. I was going to tell Slughorn I had family issues and needed a day off to deal with them. I knew he'd say yes. It pained me to be lying to them.

Once I was packed up and sat down at my desk , I wrote a note to place in the fake horcruxe.
" To The Dark Lord,
I know I will be dead by the time you read this but I want you to know it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real horcruxe and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in hope that once you meet your match you will be mortal again.

I took the fake horcruxe and placed the note inside. I grabbed my wand, potions and bag.

It was almost 11pm and I needed to see James one more time before I left. I walked in the halls up to the Gryffindor tower. In front of the fat lady I asked her to get me a Gryffindor so I can be let in.

Soon enough a 2nd year Gryffindor opens the door and I tell her I have something of James Potter. She lets me in.

I open up the dorm room door. I see my brother Sirius and Remus laying in the same bed both asleep and cuddling. I see Peter in bed passed out. Finally I see James, crying in his bed.

"Hey jammy I'm about to go but I needed to see you quickly before I left." I whisper.

"Come here please" he said pointing to his bed.

I got on the side of the bed and he grabbed me and cried into my chest.

"I'm sorry" I said, tears rolling down my face.

We kissed and held each other for 10 minutes before I knew I needed to leave.

"I have to go. I'm so sorry. I love you, remember that" I told him getting off the bed.

"I love you too and please be safe. Take this." He handed me a cloak.

"It's the invisiblility cloak, from the deathly hallows. It's been in my family for years but I've been using it for pranks. The youngest brother hid from death with it and I hope you do too. I love you Regulus Black."

I kiss him and grab the cloak and put it in my bag.

I go to my dorm and wait till midnight. At midnight Kreacher apparates into my room. I give Kreacher the second fake horcruxe and I grab his hand.
