The day of the UFO Emporium Re-opening Gala Dani was working at the Crashdown. During her shift Michael came in to order and spotted her working and went over to her. "Hey." he says softly to her. "What do you want Guerin? I'm working." she tells him while gesturing to the table she was clearing and cleaning. "Yeah, I just-you left pretty quickly yesterday and-" "What do you want Michael?" "I want to know we're okay." "We're fine." "Good." "But, um, we are done." "What?" "The sex, the pretending anything more can ever come from this, it's done. Over with." "Wait." "No, it was my deal and I know that. But, Maria, that's to far. I can't, get in the way of someone's happiness." "Nothing is going on between me and Maria." "Maybe. "And after Alex I had you to keep me steady. And then, i lost you and that hurt came back double. But, Rosa healed me, she saved me, but, she's not here anymore. She can't take the pain away anymore. So, I won't continue doing this, knowing I'll get hurt again." she finishes and goes to walk away but Michael stops her. "Wait, uh, Rosa, you guys dated right?" "Yes." "She saved you?" "Yeah." "So, you think highly of her, right?" "Of course I do. She's the best thing that ever happened to me. To this fucking planet. It didn't deserve her, and it took her from me." "Right." he drawls out hesitantly before his order is called out and she bumps into him and pushes past him. "Wait, one more thing." "What?" "Do you work on Ranchero nights?" "Always, you know that." "Right, must've forgot." "Right." she says before walking to the kitchen to get away from him.

At the Gala she arrived and Maria immediately was by her side, "you've been avoiding me." "No I haven't." "You've been calling off ever since-" "Yeah, fine. I needed time. I broke it off with him today, so." "Wait, no, please tell me you didn't." "Eh, it was just sex and friendship." "On the surface but, I know how you feel about him." "It's okay, I'm going to take Rosa's advice. Wear armor" she gestures to her red dress "and I'm just going to be me for a while. Not a we, y'know? No relationships, I'm going to focus on becoming myself completely, finding out who I am. I want to explore my music. Between two jobs and Michael, I don't have time to focus on that. I've had to deny offers for gigs. My band is considering leaving me. I have to focus on my music. I quit my job at the Crashdown, with Liz back Arturo doesn't need me, plus, I'm not letting go of Rosa by being there daily. I told him if he ever needs help that I'd be there but, he understood. And the Pony is doing good, so, I want to cut back my hours."

"Yeah, no of course. I understand." "I'm not leaving you but, I'd like more time for my real passion. What I actually want to do.""Okay, uh, we'll work it out tomorrow. I'm proud of you. After Green's speech Liz tracked down Daniella and decided to confront her about something she found in her room when she was purging of Rosa's stuff. "Dani, uh, I need to speak with you." "Yeah sure. What is it?" Liz opens up her clutch and pulls out a picture. "I found this in my room. I've been clearing out Rosa's stuff and-" "What?" "What is this?" Liz puts up a picture of Dani and Rosa on the roof kissing with a guitar laying next to them. "Um" "Can you explain this cause I can't." "Liz. I'm sorry. She didn't want people to know and-" "Who took the picture? Huh, they clearly knew." "I did." "That's not possible, you are in the picture." at this Dani decides to show rather then tell and has the picture float out of Liz's hands and into her own. "I'm an alien." "No. You can't." "I am. Ask Michael." "They know?!" "No, just him." "You're the fourth alien." "I don't know what that means but, yeah, I guess I am." "How could you?!" Liz cries out to her, "she trusted you, you were her best friend. How could you?" "I don't-" "You killed my sister!" "No, I- what are you talking about? She died in a car accident."
