TJ's POV: dates with Cyrus are the best thing in the world. He makes me feel loved, happy, safe, and like we're the only ones in the world. I didn't believe in love but then I met Cyrus and he changed that.
TJ's and Cyrus' very first date was at The Spoon they ordered a basket of baby taters (obviously) and two chocolate milkshakes. When they were eating they talked for hours and held hands under the table. After finishing up at The Spoon they went to their place the swings where it all started. The boys swung, talked and held hands while looking into each other's eyes. Then TJ was looking at Cyrus in a way he never did before. Cyrus stopped swinging and said" Teej whats up? Are you okay?" TJ says" Yes of course I'm okay." Cyrus askes" Then why are you looking at me like that?"
TJ clears his throat and says" Well first of all, you look adorable. Second of all, I wanna do this-" TJ stops talking and leans in to Cyrus cupping his face and giving him a kiss. Cyrus kisses TJ back, the kiss lasts for afew more seconds until both boys pull away and they are both blushing. Cyrus says" I've been waiting to do that since I met you," TJ smiles at Cyrus the smile that's only for him and says" Me too, Underdog." After the swings, it was starting to get kinda late so TJ's walked Cyrus back home to his house. Before Cyrus unlocked the door the boys shared one last kiss and squeezed eachother's hands and TJ said" Goodnight, Underdog." Cyrus smiled and said" Goodnight Teej."
So their next few dates consisted of food at the The Spoon, the swings, baking muffins together, movie nights with that included lots of cuddles kisses and snacks, TJ taking Cyrus the gym again, vinyl record shopping, butterfly gardens, going to build-a-bear, picnics in the park and hang outs at each others houses.
By their 7th date both boys were more comfortable with eachother and not afraid to fully show that they are a couple. They arrived at Build-A-Bear TJ holding the door for Cyrus then they interlocked hands again. Cyrus asks" So are you ready to build a bear?" TJ laughs and says" Yes." So they both pick out their bears, the outfits, accessories and everything else.
*TIME SKIP to where they putting the hearts inside the bears*
So just when TJ is about to his heart in his bear he says" Cyrus," Cyrus stops and looks at him then TJ continues and says" Cyrus you have my heart. I love you so much. You showed me what love is and how accept myself. I'm so happy that I have you in my life and I'm so lucky to call you my boyfriend." Cyrus starts to blush and unshed tears start to form in his eyes. TJ notices this and says" Underdog why are you crying?" Cyrus says" Because I love you so much and I don't know what I'd do without you in my life." TJ starts crying himself and pulls Cyrus in for a hug.
With each date they're chemistry and bond got even stronger. When they went to the carnival for their 6 month annerisary and TJ was trying his best to make this one of the best dates for Cyrus so far because he only deserves the best. They started walking around the carnival holding hands, Cyrus looks at TJ and says" What do you wanna do first?" TJ shrugs and says" That," he points to a stand that has bottles you knock down and you win a prize. (Sorry but idk shit abt carnvials so bear with me) the boys walk over to the stand.
TJ starts the game immediately knocking all the bottles then asks Cyrus what prize he wants. Cyrus looks at all the prizes and a big green dinosaur with purple spots catches his eye. TJ follows his gaze and tells the man behind the counter he wants that one. The man hands it over to TJ then TJ gives to it Cyrus. The look of happiness on my boyfriends face is the cutest TJ thought to himself. After that the boys went on abunch of rides and stole a few kisses. Then TJ got ice cream for himself and Cyrus. For himself TJ got strawberry and Cyrus wanted cookies and cream after the boy finished their ice cream.
After both boys finished their ice cream, TJ grabbed Cyrus hand and asked" Do you wanna go on the ferris wheel, Underdog?" Cyrus says" Yes of course Teej." The boys walk to the ferris wheel and get on. When they got the top of the ferris wheel it stops. TJ and Cyrus look at the view then Cyrus says" This view is beautiful." TJ says" Muffin you are the view," he smiles and Cyrus blushes. TJ leans in to kiss to Cyrus on the lips just as the sun is setting and Cyrus kisses TJ back while smiling into the kiss.
Movie night dates would always fun, low-key but sorta romantic. Sometimes it would be at TJ's place but tonight it was Cyrus' house. TJ knocked on Cyrus' front door almost immediately Cyrus answered. TJ wrapped his arms around Cyrus and gave him cheeks kisses. Cyrus says" I picked the movie Harry Potter. I hope that's okay." TJ looks at him and says"Of course it is! Also I brought the snacks," holding up two big bags. "What did you get," Cyrus asks. TJ walks over to the kitchen and starts to lay the snacks out on the counter. There's popcorn, chocolate covered preztels, cheese puffs, sour gummy worms, chocolate chocolate chip muffins then two big bottles of water. Cyrus says" And this is why your in charge of snacks."
TJ smiles then the boys get everything set up for the movie with the snacks, water, blankets, pillows etc and just as Cyrus is about to press play TJ says" Wait I almost forgot," he reaches into his backpack and pulls out a blue Jefferson basketball with his jersey number on it and says" I brought this for you to wear because I know how much you love my hoodies." Cyrus smiles at him and says" Aww Teej that's so thoughtful of you," he quickly slips it on. Then they finally start the movie. TJ gets closer to Cyrus cuddling up to him and giving him small kisses and Cyrus rests his head in the crook of TJ's neck while TJ's has his arms wrapped protectively around Cyrus' waist. They start having snacks and watching the movie. Then around halfway there the movie TJ notices that Cyrus fell asleep holding a chocolate chocolate chip muffin. TJ takes the muffin out of Cyrus' hands and turns off the tv. He cuddles Cyrus closer whispers" I love you so much Cyrus Goodman," then kisses his cheeks then falls asleep himself.
