I feel alone without you, I only wanted to be around you, I have lots of friends but, I felt closer to you.
I believe other people knew, That I was growing on you.
My friends teased me but I declined, I didn't have those things on my mind.
But something makes me think you thought otherwise.
I felt that you had put on a fake face,
Afraid of being rejected,
Always trying to protect your heart.
You got it from me.
I never let anyone love me, I was afraid of what they might see, beneath, My mask made of leafs.
I wonder if your alone without me.
