"No man is an island." But because of this global pandemic, we have to be alert for our physical health and our loved ones.
But poppies, we also have to look out for our mental health, these are ways to help yourself and also others.
1. Keep informed. Follow trusted sources like WHO and your local and national health.
2. Have a routine.
-- exercise regularly (yoga, cardio at home)
-- eat healthy meals
-- hobbies
-- try new things that you enjoy
-- personal hygiene
3. Minimize newsfeeds. Things that make you anxious, stressed, or distress.
4. Social contact is important. Facetime, and zoom party.
5. Alcohol and drug use. Drink responsibly in legal age. Use it wisely.
6. Limit your screen time. Read an actual book, cook, do some sewing, or draw in a piece of paper
7. Balance your video games and off-screen time.
8. Use your social media to promote positive and useful stories and to correct or report misinformations.
9. Help others if you are able to and incapable of, like food shopping.
10. Support your health workers and to let them you value and appreciate their efforts and is doing the part in flattening the curve.
11. Never to discriminate one's mental health.
