"I told you this was a bad idea," Mark whined as they stood in the pouring rain, the wind almost blowing them away as Donghyuck battled with the key trying to unlock the door to the holiday home."It's not my fault it decided to rain!" Donghyck growled back as he finally heard the click and pushed the door open revealing the same old home, it was like any other holiday home. As the boys piled in, drenched by the rain, they scanned the place with wide eyes. If it weren't for the heavy atmosphere and grey skies, it would've been amazing.
The walls were painted a pale blue shade to go with the white curtains hung by the huge windows revealing the ocean which the tide was strongly splashing about at this moment in time, there were around 3 couches which were a similar white shade as the curtains, a widescreen tv settled in the right-hand corner by the entrance to the kitchen.
In the kitchen, there was an island in the middle with 8 stools surrounding it, a bowl of fruit laid in the centre, mouldy since nobody had been there for around a year or two but that was beside the point.
"Why have we never came here before?" Jaemin gasped looking around at the scenery, trying his best to ignore the sound of the heavy rain hitting the glass. Donghyuck sighed running his hand through his soggy hair before answering him.
"Because we didn't have a big group like this before, in other words, it would've been boring." The eight boys settled down in various places, they'd figure out room placements later on but for now, they just wanted to dry off and get a nice warm shower.
So that's what happened for the next two hours, it didn't take long for them to find themselves the room Donghyuck given them, in each room, there were two beds in each room and it worked perfectly for all of them.
Mark and Renjun had arranged for Sanha to come along so he wouldn't be third-wheeling but there was something that the six others didn't know about those two, even though they often teased about those two being together but nobody knew that they actually were a thing.
Later that night, they all watched a movie suggested by Renjun which wasn't that bad for once but they all exhausted themselves from the travel that they fell asleep on the couches.
From the windows, which they didn't bother to shut the night before, the bright morning sun shone through onto the boys' faces. Some of them just rolled over and continued sleeping but that was short-lived since Chenle had begun screeching awaking everyone.
"LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS!!!" He screamed pointing out at the golden sand, the sun glistening down onto the aqua blue sea which was much calmer than the night before, it was like a miracle.
"Whoa, this place is like a fairytale..." Jaemin muttered, still dazed from having just woken up, while Jeno crept up behind him wrapping his arms around his torso.
"You know what's prettier?" He whispered in his ear, morning voice and all making Jaemin's cheeks flush a deep shade of red.
"What?" He answered back refusing to look him in the eye, Jeno pointed his finger down at the shoreline.
"That little samoyed down there." Sure enough, there was a white fluffy samoyed running along the shore, with a huff Jaemin tangled himself out of the strong embrace and headed to get dressed.
"You're such a tease." Donghyuck giggled having watched their exchange from behind, Mark still wrapped up like a burrito at his side despite the hot weather, it was all over a good sight for such a good morning.
Everyone got ready, most with a lack of clothes given that they'd all be on the beach within five minutes of leaving the house, they'd made a rule that everyone would stick together for the first day before rushing off on dates which everyone seemed fine with.
"Guys come on I want to leave!" Renjun whined from the seat where he and Jaemin were flipping bottles from boredom, everyone was taking far to long to decide on some swimming trunks.
"Alright alright, we're practically done!" Sanha shouted along with Jisung, it was only half eleven yet all of them just wanted to be out in the bright morning sun, either splashing about like children or relaxing on the golden sand letting all their stress melt away.
One by one the boy's filed out of their own bedrooms, once they'd left the house it wasn't a long walk at all, 3 minutes top. They found space and all slumped down with a content sigh.
"Is this what heaven feels like? Because I could sure get used to this." Mark uttered under his breath, not to anyone in particular. Soon enough the louder amongst the boys had left to swim around leaving the quieter ones to relax.
"I think I want to take Jaemin out on a date." Jeno admitted, "Like a proper fancy one or whatever people do." Mark opened his eyes, pulling his sunglasses away from his face as he did so.
"Yeah? Maybe you could take him somewhere for dinner? Mark said Jeno shook his head claiming it was too cliche.
"Alright, then how about swimming?" Jeno gave Mark a dumbfounded look as he pointed at the boy splashing water over Chenle, Mark rolled his eyes before continuing what he was trying to get across.
"I mean at night, under the stars or just as the sun is setting, a picnic on the shoreline would be quite romantic, wouldn't you say?" Jeno smiled, his eyes forming into crescents at the idea, he had a lot to plan now but in the meantime, he had a boyfriend to tend to since it seemed as if a blur of pink was coming into vision.
"Argh, what the hell?" Jeno groaned when a soaked body landed on top of him, with Jaemin's hair in his face he couldn't see but nevertheless he smiled after hearing the boys laugh right next to his ear.
"I love you Nono~" Jaemin sang out with that handsome smile which Jeno never admitted that he treasured so much.
"I love you too." He smiled back wrapping his arm around him protectively, he lolled his head to the side again coming closer to his ear.
"I hope you know I'd never leave you, I'll always be with you," Jeno whispered, "Always." Jaemin couldn't have gone quieter as he rolled over facing him with a beautiful sparkle in his eyes.
"Cut out the lovey-dovey shit for once, I beg," Renjun whined.
"Say's you, hypocrite." Chenle chirped back pointing at him with two arms wrapped around his back belonging to Sanha.
"You can cut out the act now." Donghyuck winked at the pair making Renjun suddenly stand up with a load of sand grasped in his hand.
"Violence is never the answer!" Donghyuck screeched as he legged it down the beach gaining a few looks, he didn't care, he just didn't want to suffer the wrath of angry Renjun. I mean, who would?
