Roman is the first one who wanders through the make shift hideout. I lean back on the closest wall, waiting to make myself known. As the sound of an engine catches my attention and his. I can't help but, grin. In comes an all to familiar 72' Maverick, Tej. You couldn't get that man to get rid of that even with a million dollars. It's a death trap.
I walk forward as I see Tej get out of his car to greet Rome. "Oh hell nah, I see they really scraped the bottom of the barrel, huh?" Tej says making his way to Rome.
"I guess they did, since your ass is here" Rome said taking a look back at the Maverick. "When are you going to give Martin Luther King his car back?" He adds in question. I roll my eyes, laughing at the two. Immediately getting their attention.
"Don't even try Rome, I've been telling him that thing is a death trap for years" I said pulling Rome into a hug. Tej huffs rolling his eyes at my comment. Turning his attention back to Rome.
"As soon as you give Rick James his jacket back" Tej claps back. Eyeing the leather jacket, clearly both men have not changed. I smile giving Tej a hug.
The sound of a motorcycle catches our attentions once again. I see a woman stop right in the middle of the room. I make my way to her, Tej and Rome in tow. Before I could say anything Rome opens up his big ass mouth. As she gets off her bike.
"Sexy legs, baby girl. What time do they open?" He asks walking closer to her. She spins around, pointing her gun to his chest.
"They open the same time as I pull this trigger. Want me to open them?" She asks with a raised eyebrow and slight smile. Rome looks from the gun to her, shaking his head.
Familiar laughter of Leo and Santos echos around us.
"Te dije que la chica flaca teniía pelotas" Leo said laughing with Santos. As they see the situation Rome got his dumbass into.
"Parece que emezó la fiesta sin nosotros" Santos said making me roll my eyes for a third time already.
"Nunca es una fiesta sin ustedes dos" I said with a smile.
"Hey, anybody can talk shit in Spanish, homie" Rome says a little agitated with the men already.
"¿Qué está diciendo este tipo?" Leo asks dropping his bags on the ground.
"Fea sigue siendo fea en español o en inglés" Santos says getting under Romes skin.
"Ya basta, Leo y Santos. Dejen de burlarse del hombre" I said chuckling at the two. Always ones to start trouble. Well Rome isn't any better.
"Who are these clowns man?" Rome asks Tej.
"Circus clowns" Tej said as Rome and him face Leo and Santos in some sort of standoff.
"I thought cockfights were illegal in Brazil." Han said appearing next to Gisele and I. Eating a bag of chips nonetheless.
"They are, this isn't much of a cockfight though. So I don't think we'll have to worry" I said chuckling. Taking the chip that Han offers me. Enjoying the show.
"I see you have all met" Dom said walking to us. Brian and Mia in tow.
"You know when you called me to come to Rio, I assumed it would be for something more exciting than this." Gisele says making her way to Dom. Greeting him with a hug.
"Look at this guy, Harley called you. Didn't she?" Brian said pulling Tej into a Bro hug.
"Of course, it wouldn't be a team without him. Plus he only agreed cause his favorite O'Connor called" I said laughing at the offended look Brian gave.
"It's been a long time coming" Tej said with a smile.
"Dom, this is Tej. Best circuit man on the east coast" I said as he and Tej shake hands.
"An this is my boy, Roman Pearce. We go way back, I met this guy in juvie...I pulled that job with him in Miami." Brian jumps in. I watch as Rome and Dom eye each other. If I didn't know any better I'd say Rome was intimidated.
"I've heard about you" Dom said nodding to Rome.
"Nice digs" Han says standing next to Dom, breaking the tension.
"Yeah,well, the Ritz was sold out" Dom said facing Han a little bit more.
"So what's this all about, Dom?" Han asks what everyone else was wondering.
"Yeah, man, why did you drag us halfway around the world?" Tej asks this time.
"Because we got a job" Dom said peaking everyone's interest.
"Our targets name is Hernan Reyes and he runs the drug scene down here." Brian said as we all gather around a table.
"He's never been busted because he doesn't leave a paper trail." I said leaning against the table.
"No paper trail means no banks and no banks means cash houses" Gisele says glancing to Brian and I.
"That's right, Ten of them to be exact. They are spread throughout the city." Brian said nodding as he opens up the map.
"An we are going to hit them all" Dom said smirking.
"All of them?" Tej questions in disbelief.
"All of them" Dom said firmly with a nod.
"That sounds crazy" Rome states as he starts to get a little nervous. Rubbing his hands together.
"It is crazy,that's why we need you guys to help us" I said having a feeling Rome wants to back out.
"Nah man, you bring us to a whole other country, so we can rob the dude who runs it? I thought this was business. Sounds personal to me" Rome said ignoring me.
"Rome ,come on man" I plead with him as he gets more antsy. He's not good to stay.
"I got love for y'all but personal ain't good for business. I can't do this homie." Rome said shaking his head and begins to walk off. So I said the only thing I know would make him stay.
"So what we're talking about is 100 million dollars" I start to say which catches Romes attention quickly as he turns around.
"You say what? Hundred.. See, sometimes I be overthinking, man, and I know we just met, but you just, kind of gotta " Rome starts to ramble.
"That's right, 100 million and everything we take, we split even" Dom speaks up this time.
"That's a little over 11 million apiece...I am down" Tej says.
"I'm in" Santos said with a firm nod.
"11 million, sounds like a whole lot of vaginal activity to me." Rome said making me smack the back of his head. He swats me away as he glares at me rubbing his head.
"You can't pull off 10 heists on the same mark. You can't, you just can't" Gisele states.
"As soon as we hit the first one, they're going to do everything they can to protect the rest. " Han said agreeing with Gisele.
"Exactly" Dom said with a smile. Making everyone but, Mia, Brian, and I. Look at him confused.
