Undyne didn't know what to think. Had all that really happend? Had she been in a loop for years? Had she really died who knows how many times!?

She glanced over to the blue hoodied skeleton. He had his hood up, covering his skull. Looking closer, she could see a faint smile, a little tired looking though, oh his face. It looked...real

She knew something was up with him, Frisk too, though she didn't seem to be as badly affected. His smiles never seemed real but she never got the reason for that out of him. Guess she now knows.

The women had a new respect towards the skeleton. He had seen so much, felt so much and...lost so much and yet he still kept up this front for all their sakes. She had no idea what she would do if she had to see Alphys die over ad over, knowing even if she did save her, it would all just get RESET. It was a scary thought.

Undyne looked over at Frisk who was cuddled up to Sans' side, holding onto his arm. She chukled

Thoes two were really a pair. She had once herd Sans tell Papyrus that he saw her as his daughter or a younger sister. Someone to protect and someone to talk to. She now realized just how close the two were. They were the only ones about the RESETS'S, as far as she knew. They must have bonded over it somehow

That brought her to another thought. Just how bad did it mess these two up? Frisk seemed relatively okay but Sans, she knew wasn't. Frisk was young maybe too young to fully make emotions for the things she had seen. She understood but her mind couldn't produce high enough emotions to deal with it with how young she was, but Sans was an adult. He understood and felt a lot more. He must have had to be the strong one

The one with a plan

The one with a solution

She sighed and moved over to Papyrus who seemed like he was having a hard time grasping everything

"Hey punk. You...okay?" She asked. Papyrus gave a nod and glanced over to his brother who had his eyes closed, leaning back in his chair

"YES OF COURSE...I JUST...CANT BELIVE THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON. WHAT THEY HAD TO GO THROUGH..."

Papyrus turned back to Undyne and sighed, his eyes drooping slightly

"I FAILED HIM..." He whispered

Undyne felt a shock go through her body as she herd thoes words. She was about to disagree with him but he continued

"I FAILED BOTH OF THEM. I FAILED TO NOTICE ANYTHIG WAS WRONG AND I FAILED TO PROTECT HIM. I KNOW THAT I'M THE YOUNGER BROTHER BUT...SANS HAD GONE THROUGH SO MUCH AND I...DIDN'T EVEN HELP. IM A FAILURE AS A BROTHER AND UNCLE..."

Undyne stood there, shocked. She was about to agure with the skeleton but someone beat her to it

"Your wrong"

Everyone's head turned to Sans who's hood covered his eyes. A grim expression was on his face

"You are completely wrong Papyrus! How could you think that!?" He shouted

Sans stood up, nearly knocking Frisk down

"You did not fail me or Frisk. And you are most certainly not a bad brother. Pap listen, I would have been lost without you. You were the main reason I was still going! Without you and Frisk, I would have given up long time ago. You have no reason to be sorry and no reason to call yourself a failure"

Everyone was dead quite. Sans' arms were crossed, an unasual
unasual stance for the lazy skeleton, while Papyrus stared at him with wonder in his eye sockets. Then a wide grin spread across his face and he grabbed Sans, swinging him in the air and giving him a hug
