I've come to realize that it's true when they say
You never know what you've got
Until you're at risk of losing it
Or it disappears completely and gets lost.
But have you ever thought that
What if this thing that could be lost
Is the life that we so often bristle at
And become absolutely distraught.
You've been waiting for an eternity
You can finally be free
Now you have the opportunity
So go ahead and leave.
It's been made easy, you should be filled with glee
But yet you don't move, you stand still
Because this isn't how you wanted it to be
Painful and sorrowful, completely against your will.
