When morning came, Lian doesn't know whether they're relieved or terrified. It's a relief that they're finally able to wake up from the nightmare they've been facing. But on the other side, they're terrified of what comes next. For the nightmare that once was just a simple bad dream, will most likely become reality. They actually got the strong urge to just lie there and avoid the oh so cruel reality that will soon arrive, but their stupid alarm decides that it has time to scream it's ridiculous alarm song that makes Lian's ears bleed every second. Irritated, Lian finally stands up and starts doing their morning routine. Not before smacking the shit excuse of alarm, of course. It's one of their few morning routines.
Lian takes a bath, brush their teeth, and starts changing. The clock shows that they got one more hour before their "planned event" begin, so they decided to go for breakfast before they go.
Actually, what are these planned events anyway? Well, Lian honestly doesn't want to talk or explain about it. Basically, a middle school reunion will commence, and attending it, unfortunately, is a must. Lian is reluctant with attending it. They could just pretend they never heard anything about the reunion, but a certain someone keeps calling and messaging them to be there. And Lian is pissed. That certain someone keeps calling, even dared to make comments on their social media page, asking them to come.
The reason for this unwillingness to come is, of course, the people that are certain to come.
Lian's middle school's life isn't really great. Well, actually, no. It is great. Amazing. Fun. Every good thing that ever happened to them can be found in middle school. Lian had good friends, BEST friends in middle school that they can't seem to find anywhere in high school. They became inseparable, always on each other's back, always seen hanging by each other. And Lian really enjoys their company. The group of 5 troublemakers that always escapes somehow.
And Lian treasures their friendship, once.
Before the so-called friendship shattered into tiny pieces of what it once was.
And today they shall reunite, perhaps.
