Newt aroused from his deep slumber by something poking his face. Groggily, he opened his eyes to see Tina a little far from him, not looking very pleased at the moment.

"T-Tina?" Newt yawned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "What's wrong?"

She didn't reply. Instead, she simply opened her arms.

"Come. Warmth," she muttered sleepily.

Newt didn't need any further explanation. He slowly scooted closer to his wife and wrapped his arms around her, allowing her to snuggle into his chest. He rubbed her back soothingly, in the way he knew always made her fall asleep easily.

"Love you," was the last thing he heard from her before she began snoring softly against him.

Smiling, Newt dropped a kiss to her hair. "Love you, too," he whispered. He tucked her head beneath his chin and closed his eyes, letting sleep claim him as well.
