Shelby's pov 

Hi my name is Shelby Lynn McGovern and I live my life in an adoption center. The reason I'm in here is because when I was 5 my parents abandoned me in our local mall. They told me they would be back and they never came back to get me. Someone found me and I've lived here since. I don't know anyone really hear because it changes a lot. I've been adopted multiple times then brought back after a day because they don't want me anymore. My favorite idols are Joey Graceffa, Billie Eilish, and Daniel Preda. I watch them everyday when I'm down. Today is adoption day for the adoption center and I know it's going to happen again. Our adoption center mom is Lisa and she has always been the sweetest to me. 

Lisa- Good morning Shelby 

Shelby- Good morning Lisa 

Lisa- How you feeling 

Shelby- Honestly the same it feels like a normal day because I'm going to get adopted because they like me and then bring me back tomorrow 

Lisa- I don't know there something special about today 

Shelby- How

LIsa- There someone very special coming in today 

After she left I got some breakfast. I then got ready and when I was done I heard Lisa come over the intercom. 

Lisa- Can the girls of the ages of 13 to 17 please come down to the front they would like to meet you 

I forgot to mention I just turned 16 a few weeks ago so I've been living here for 12 years now. We don't get to meet the person till its our turn for the little "interview." 

Lisa- Hey Shelby I put you last for this one 

Shelby- Okay 

I ran back upstairs and chilled till she called me down when only 2 people were in front of me. 20 minutes later I walk in with Lisa. 

Lisa- Joey this is Shelby she's been through a rough 12 years 

I was confused why she said Joey till I looked up and I saw Joey Graceffa. I was in complete shock that her was here right now. 

Lisa- Shelby you alright

Shelby- Yeah I'm fine

I then shook it off and sat down. 

Joey-You've been living here for 12 years

Shelby- yeah 

Joey- How did this happen

Shelby- Well when I was 5 my parents left me somewhere and told me they will be back but they never did till Lisa found me. 

Joey- Have you ever been adopted

Shelby- yeah multiple time like every year for one day but then I come back so I only pack an over night bag

Joey- I heard your a fan of mine

Shelby- Yeah I am. I also what to say I'm sorry about you and Daniel. I honestly think you do need some time 

Joey- Awe thank you Shelby 

Shelby- Yeah I've been try multiple times trying to go to one of your shows but never end up doing because they get sold out

Joey- I'm sorry about that. So you said you were adopted multiple times

Shelby- Yeah 

Joey- Do you want to talk about it

Shelby- Yeah sure so.......I'm not the best with human interaction
