Lydia POV

" where have you been you .. you disgrace" he yells

I wonder why he's not slapping me. There must be someone in the room important for him not to but he will yell at me.

" what's with the clothes , do you wanna be a commoner " he yelled again

" yes if I can get away from you " I mumble

I hear Catherine try to defend me but he grabs my face and throws me to the ground. I hear gasps and whispers. I wonder how long I can keep fighting. I wonder if Lydia got tired of fighting her father everyday.

" I'm I excused father " I said

" get out of my sight " he said wiping his own hands

I get up and walk out the room. I hear foot steps behind me and see it's Lawrence. How embarrassing he saw all of that.

I go to my room and sit on my bed as Lawrence sits next to me. I'm really happy Lawrence is here with me.

" can you get me some water " I said laughing try to get rid of the uncomfortable silence

He nodded his head and gets water. When the door closes as he leaves the room I broke down. Tears poured out my eyes like water falls. I wasn't crying for me I was crying for Angeline Lydia. How much pain did she have to go through.

No one understands her she fought with her father everyday. She was hurting everyday and no one knew. People saw her as evil but they didn't actually saw her for her. They didn't saw that she was crying. It's okay Lydia I'm here now.

I'm here for you. Your not gonna feel pain anymore , I will take the pain for you. I hear a knock and I wipe the tears before Lawrence came in.

I look up and see it's Vincent. He looks at me surprised. I'm sure my eyes are red and swollen. I thought it was Lawrence.

" ah I'm sorry prince Vincent but can you come a different time thank you " Lawrence hurry's to close the door and sees me

I laugh as he hands me the water and some tissues

" wow Lawrence so bold of you to just push a royal prince , how do you feel " I said laughing

" ahhh wait I have to apologize I didn't mean to . I just saw you and .. " he panics and tries to go back

" nope to late , your death sentence should be tomorrow 7 am sharp Lawrence " I tease pulling him next to me

I see his face pale and I laugh more. The room goes silent. I rest my head on his shoulder and he tense. I sigh and I try to touch my cheek. Lawrence stops me

" it's gonna bruise if you touch it more angeline " he pouts putting my hand down

" it stings but I'm strong " I puff out my chest and give him my strong face

" you are the strongest person I know " he smiles

" thanks for staying with me Lawrence " i lay on my bed

" your my close friend " he smiles

he lays down with me and we sit in complete silence. It was comfortable knowing he was here with me.

" hey check out my bracelet " I grin

" you know the school won't let you wear it " he looks at it

" they don't have to know dummy " I laugh

He nodded his head no but laughs with me. I'm going to miss Lawrence.

" Lawrence , if I disappear don't look for me " I whisper looking at him still laying down

He stands up and grabs my hands. He starts to tear up and let out sniffles.

" of course I would look for you angeline " he hiccups

I smile and give him a hug and he sobs into my shoulder.

" don't say that angeline , your all I have so don't leave me " I hear him whisper

" okay okay I won't " I lie

As I continue to hug him I felt a tear fall down. I'm sorry Lawrence , I'm going to lie to you this last time only.
