Lydia POV

" I wanna thank you for saving my second son Alan " the queen said

" It would have been the right thing, anyone would have done it my Queen " I said bowing

" We are so happy for you to marry our eldest son Vincent , you have grown too " the king said

" Miss Lydia please call us Cassie and Bruce " the queen dejects

I shake my head no and she smiles. She whispers to the king and they both smile nodding there head.

" good job son we approve " the king laughs

" I know " Vincent said

" well King and Queen , I have something to say " I said looking down

" yes fill free to say " the kings offers

Let's just hope he's still as joyful when I ask for a separation in marriage.

" I want to annual the marriage between the prince and I " I said

I hear gasp and a drop of a glass. I don't dare to look up. I hear a clear of the kings throat.

" Dear can I ask why " he said

" right now it's too young for me to think of marriage and right now I just can't do it. I'm at a bad place and don't think it's right for my problem to be yours too " I said

" can you at least think about it " the queen said

I nodded my head

" if you don't hear from me in three days , that is my answer " I said

" please think it over miss Lydia , you would be perfect for us our family " she said

" you may leave " the king said

Once I look up , my eyes meet Vincent right away. Seeing pain and hurt in his eyes. It immediately breaks my heart. I'm sorry Vincent but I'm scared for my life.

I walk out the room and I hear footsteps follow.

" please Vincent don't follow me " I said

" d-did I do anything "

I don't answer him and walk to the carriage. It's not what you did it's what your going to do in the future Vincent.

I go into the carriage and take a seat . I see boxes and suitcases. I hope this is the right decision for me and the others.

" miss Lydia we're heading to the town " grace said

" call me Lydia now grace " I said smiling

When I woke up I told grace my plan. She was happy at first but when she realized I was gonna leave her she stopped me. That's when I told her I would visit her.

I find the inn my new home. I pull the suitcases to the ground. Grace helps me. She also helped me packed.

That's when I pull the last suitcase. I left all what my father gave and bought me. I didn't want to owe him anything. So all the clothes in the boxes and cases for my own clothes " commoners clothes " Which I liked more personally.

I watch as grace begins to cry.

" grace you were like a real mother too me. You know that I didn't grow up with a mother and you were my perfect role for me. You never gave up on me even I was bratty and mean. Thank you for being the mother role I needed grace " I said crying

Grace balls into cries and we both hug each other tight. We say our last goodbye and I watch she drives the carriage back without me.

I put the boxes and cases into the inn with some towns peoples help. Telling them I just moved and how they welcomed me.

" ah hello miss Lydia nice seeing you again , here your keys. It's on the second floor I can have some of my staff help you " she offers

" no it's okay , I'm a big girl. I can do this thank you so much " I said smiling.
