When They Become One | Seventeen

Two: Dorms

It's been hours since the thirteen boys have been stuck inside the room and there were little improvements in their "friendship", some of them still kept fighting and getting scolded by jeonghan, wonwoo sat at the back of the class with his head on the table sleeping, meanwhile jihoon was trying to write some lyrics but the noise around him didn't help at all but they were all still getting closer

As jihoon was about to explode from anger the teacher unlocked the door and walked inside the class causing everyone's attention to turn to her, "Boys can you please go back to your seats? And someone wake wonwoo up" everyone did as she said as mingyu went to the back and shook wonwoo a little "wonwoo wake up the teacher is here" wonwoo whined but got up and sat at his place next to Jun. "Okay, now that everyone is settled I want to tell you something really important" everyone went silent and waited for her to continue "As you know our goal is to get you to become closer to each other so we decided to make you all live in one dorm all together. We took permission from your parents so you have no excuses. Any questions?" "When will we move in the dorms?" jun asked "Right now" Mrs.jung answered him with a smile all of the boys were about to complain and throw a fit but the teacher interrupted by talking again "Now gather your stuff so you can go and see your new home" everyone started doing as she said still not happy about the idea of moving in together, they soon got in the school bus and went to the dorms

A little while later they arrived at the dorms, the teacher didn't come with them so that means seungcheol was in charge of them now "Guys I know you're not so happy about this but we need to give it a chance okay?" "yeah whatever let's just go inside," jihoon said pushing everyone out of the way and going in, everyone then followed and started exploring the dorms, mingyu then came running to the front door where seungcheol was standing "What's wrong?" the older asked "There aren't enough rooms for all of us" "really? I'll go check" seungcheol went and counted all the rooms he then went to the living room and saw mingyu sitting there along with minghao, jisoo, jihoon, and jeonghan "We need to share rooms," seungcheol said as the boys who were sitting there just nodded their head "I'll go call the boys so we can discuss this together" jeonghan said getting up

After everyone was gathered in the living room, Seungcheol started talking "there are only six rooms so we'll have to share rooms okay?" seungkwan groaned in annoyance "Can't I have a room alone?" "Sorry seungkwan but that won't be fair, let's choose roommates now" jun quickly clung onto minghao and shouted " I want minghao!" minghao just chuckled as jihoon rolled his eyes "You don't shout we all know you want to be with your boyfriend" "Can I go with jisoo hyung?" seokmin in asked shyly "Sure," jisoo said causing seokmin to smile "Guys in order for us to get closer we need to go with the guys we don't know and get to know them" jeonghan spoke causing everyone's attention to turn to him "He has a point," seungcheol said agreeing with jeonghan's words

"Maybe we can put random colors on a paper and put it in a cup and randomly pick our roommates?" hansol suggested but seokmin and jun frowned "does that mean we'll have to change roommates?" they both said at the same time, seungcheol chuckled and shook his head "As long as your happy with your roommate it's fine" seokmin then grabbed jisoo's hands and stood up "Let's go pick a room" "but they all look the same-" jisoo was cut off by swim in dragging him all the way to one I the rooms "Let's go too" minghao said to jun as he excitedly nodded his head and got up

Seungcheol got out a paper and did as hansol suggested "okay everyone come take a paper but a paper but don't open it yet", soon everyone took a paper and sat back down seungcheol finally allowed them to open their papers "I got blue!" "me too" mingyu frowned, him and wonwoo got blue an that means they'll have to share a room. Mingyu didn't hate wonwoo it was the total opposite he actually liked wonwoo, maybe even loved him, so the thought of sharing a room with his crush didn't sound so pleasing. Mingyu never showed wonwoo that he liked him, he was scared of getting rejected, he's had a crush on the emo boy since the beginning of high school he kept his feelings hidden all those years scared that his would stop being his friend and think of him as a horrible gay kid "Mingyu? What's wrong?" jeonghan put his hand on mingyu's shoulder and asked mingyu quietly for only him to hear "I...i'll tell you later" mingyu flashed a fake smile and walked away before jeonghan could ask any more questions

"Did everyone get a roommate?" "Yes!"

Wonwoo and mingyu
Jisoo and seokmin
Jun and minghao
Soonyoung and jihoon
Jeonghan and seungcheol
Seungkwan, Hansol, and chan

Everyone started doing their own thing and jeonghan decided to make dinner with mingyu so he could tell him what happened, both of them were now I'm the kitchen getting out ingredients for dinner "So tell me what's wrong?" jeonghan said setting down the pot on the stove turning it on, he started putting the ingredients as mingyu was chopping the veggies but mingyu stopped when jeonghan asked the question and looked at jeonghan who was giving him a reassuring smile, "Hyung I-i like wonwoo, I've liked him since the start of high school" mingyu blushed and looked down as jeonghan smile extended "Mingyu that's really good! When will you confess to him?" "I won't" mingyu simply said and continued chopping the veggies

"What do you mean you won't? You've liked him since forever you should confess" jeonghan said continued what he was working on "What if he rejects me hyung? I don't want to ru-" "Mingyu you should man up and confess but don't push him give him time to think about it" jeonghan patted mingyu's back as mingyu nodded and smiled at jeonghan, mingyu's smile then turned to a smirk "How about you tell me who's your crush?" mingyu wiggled his eyebrows and jeonghan turned to a tomato "Ooo~ Jeonghannie hyung has a crush!" "Shut up and do your work"

"Come on hyung tell me who it is, please?" mingyu begged jeonghan "okay fine! It's..seungcheol" jeonghan said shyly blushing as mingyu's eyes widened "What?! You just met today!" "Shh! I know that we did but something about him just makes me feel differently..it's really weird I don't know how to explain it" mingyu nodded and smirked again and wiggled his eyebrows "Aren't you two sharing a room?" "y-yes" mingyu chuckled at his hyung's cute behavior "Hey guys are you done?" soonyoung said walking inside the kitchen "Yeah call the kids please" soonyoung nodded and left

Soon everyone was eating together, it was still a little awkward cause it's the first time but there weren't any fights like when they were in school "Let's eat quickly and go to sleep" seungcheol said and the others complied, seungcheol and jisoo decided to help jeonghan and mingyu clean up after they finished eating as the others already left to their rooms. After they finished they bid each other a good night and went straight to bed
