Somewhere deep in a forest in an fantastical land lay an oak tree with a small house built into it. A young girl named Lira and her mother lived there long ago. Often the girl would frolic and play around the cottage with flowers in her hair. Her mother would never let her stray through the woods, only somewhere in sight. Still living in the tree-house, Lira ventures out one day and she spots a boy and his friends killing some of the animals of her woodland realm and everything changes from ther on out....
