{5 year's later}
I held the small child's hand as we begin his first training session. Lucas was strong with the force, stronger than his sister, Alana.
Alana was 3 years old now and Lucas was 8years old. I hadn't expected them both to grow up so fast. Before you know it they would have families of their own.
I glance outside our beautiful, loving home to see both of them running around in the nearby fields. Ben was not far away from them and keeping a watch if anyone were to get hurt.
Lucas was chasing her, playing a game of tag. I was glad they had each other to count on. As I never had anyone like that growing up on Jakku. Alana was definitely my favourite, but you couldn't let Lucas know that or he would be riddled with jealousy for ages. Sometimes I like to imagine what they are going to grow into.
Lucas would for sure become a Grey Jedi. And Alana, well she seemed more into politics that the force. It was almost like they mirrored Luke and Leia. Their personalities were partly similar but there were a few differences here and there. But one thing for sure, they were destined to do something astonishing together.
They were now equally strong with the force, Lucas had grown to learn faster than we had anticipated but still has many challenges and quests to complete ahead of him. As for Alana, well she's more like Leia than anything.
She was definitely a fighter. She could tell if you were lying just by staring into your eyes as if she were interrogating your soul. She had become quite a character from the moment she could talk, and so far she hasn't stopped since. But that's what makes her who she is and the daughter I love.
I took ben's hand. Holding Alana in the other. Ben flashes a smile of love, gratitude and pride. And he now had a family to call his own l, something that he had a lack of when he was younger.
I take a step forward, being careful not to stumble into anything. The moonlight, shining prominently through the darkness within the sky. Each star screaming with light as if they were a person of their own.
As we all gaze upon the dark sky, a shooting star flying past. "Make a wish," I say to them.
I glance over at Alana who squeezed her eyes shut together as she made her wish. I chuckled slightly due to the cuteness, that melted my heart.
I let you know a secret. I wished for eternal happiness for us all. In death and life. And for that, well it came true.
