Ting! Ting! Ting! Ting! Thomas stopped the alarm and got up. It was 7 in the morning so Thomas woke Shaun up too. "Come on wake up Shaun ." shouted Thomas. "It's already 7 o'clock and the feast ends at half-past 7." hearing this Shaun woke up. They quickly got dressed and went down to the main hall.
The hall was being prepared with various Halloween decorations such as real ghosts flying around, talking pumpkins, and massive cobwebs. "Oh ya it's Halloween today so we'll have another feast this night." said Thomas brightly. They sat on the invisible chairs and ate the delicious food. After the feast, they attended their first class of the day which was the charms class. There they practiced the Intermissum spell and learned a new spell called the Obstuctionum spell which would block any spell if used correctly. They learned that to perform the Obstructionum spell they had to raise their wands above their head and bring it down in a very swift circle movement. Next was the magical aeronautics class. There they practiced flying smoothly and not rough like they did before. Last but not least was the dueling class. Here they learned how to use the Obstructionum spell in a duel.
Finally, it was night and the time for the Halloween feast! Thomas and Shaun were very excited. They hoped to the main hall and saw the magnificent view. There were so many Halloween decorations. Even the food was decorated to look like a Halloween decoration.
The pumpkins were hopping everywhere.
Everybody had a wide smile on their faces. Even if they didn't feel like smiling, they couldn't stop smiling. All the school had gathered in the main hall and it was really difficult for Thomas and Shaun to find a seat. Professor Trichtor stood up. "I wish you all a happy, happy Halloween," he said. "You all could start enjoying the feast." after Professor Trichtor said this, everyone attacked the food. The food was so delicious that nobody had time to speak so the rest of a few minutes were spent in complete silence except for munching noises.
There were white curtains on the windows and some bats were flying around. The bats looked funny as they were dressed up in a tiny wizard cloak and there were tiny brooms attached to the cloaks so that when they flew around, it looked like they were tiny wizards on brooms!!!
Thomas and the others were very full and Thomas started to feel sleepy so he decide to head to his dormitory. He exited the room and saw that there was someone standing there. Thomas couldn't see his face because of his dark, black hood. Thomas turned his head to see if there was anyone else there and when he saw that the corridor was empty he turned his head back and was surprised to see that the wizard had disappeared. leaving behind nothing but the scent which Thomas had smelled in the abandoned room!
Just then a loud announcement came that the dark wizard Livius the dangerous was seen in the castle a few minutes before and that all the professors will secure the school and the area around while all students will go to their dormitories immediately. Thomas knew that the man he saw was no other than Livius the dangerous and wanted to tell this to a professor but knew that the professors were probably already securing the castle so he had no choice but to go to his dormitory like the other students.
CHAOS
The crowd rushed around and it was absolute chaos. There were students tripping over and shouting. People were getting injured but luckily when they went to the grounds outside, the students were able to get a little dispersed and the students in higher grades controlled the situation.
