Future..?

Harry POV

After what I promised Ginny I've been thinking... after school I was thinking about working as an auror but if I have Ginny's baby I might not have the time for work... that is if I would live alone
I haven't dated Draco for a long time and I'm unsure if he would appreciate a commitment to something as serious as living with me... I'll have to think about talking to him, though I can talk to Hermione

The days were slowly turning warmer as spring blossomed
The sun was shining but the wind was cold
I wrapped my scarf tighter around me before I stepped out in the grounds, Hermione would be down by the lake, probably in the company by Ron... she chose the giant squid for a writing  project in History

As I thought, Her and Ron were sitting next to our tree by the lake
"Hey guys" I said when I got to them

"Hey Harry, have you talked to Ginny?" Hermione asked and closed a book in her lap

"Yeah..." I said with my bare hands in my pockets "about that, can we talk"

Ron looked at me with a questioning expression "I guess that this is something I'm not to anticipate in"

"Sorry Ron, after all this is your sister and I want advice from Hermione who doesn't have the protective urge"

"It's okay but when you sort, whatever it is out, can you tell me because I'm also your best friend"

"Of course" I said and helped Hermione of the ground
We walked a bit and I stayed quite

"Well... what is it" she asked and turned to me, deciding that this would be our talk spot

"Okay, so... I talked with Ginny and I know about the whole baby thing" I said and Hermione just nodded for me to keep going "yes and well... We talked about it and where the baby would live when she took her last year here" I paused and looked at the ground, my feet are very interesting

"Harry, did you tell her that you could be the temporary guardian for the baby" she said with a soft and understanding voice

I only nodded and she placed a hand on my shoulder, I looked up at her and she smiled

"You probably think I'm an idiot" I sighed but she shakes her head

"No, I knew that if the conversation came to that topic, you would volunteer" she gave me a quick hug "that's the person you are, you're there for people when they need help, it's a wonderful trait"

"Thank you... that's not what bothers me though" I looked up and thought of the best way to put it "It kind of took me to the thought of living with someone... to help me to take care of the child while I work, and I-"

"-You thought of Draco" Hermione finished my sentence and I gave her a 'really' look

"You literally know everything I'm about to say" I chuckled and she joined in

"I'm sorry, it's just that I've already thought about all this and I have an suggestion" She turned around to look up at the castle

"Let's hear than"

"I think you should talk to Draco, I think he would prefer that whatever was on your mind, he knows about"

"Okay, but I'm scared that he won't be at all tempted to live with me, let alone with a baby"

"Maybe he'll get a bit startled but he'll probably come around when he has thought it over"

"Alright, I'll talk to him" I said and hugged her "thank you Mione, can you tell Ron about all of this, I want to find Draco now when I still have the confidence"

"Sure, good luck" she waved me off and I sprinted up towards the castle

I thought that Draco was probably in Herbology so that was were I headed
