Anna's been waiting to come out all of a sudden ever since we started dating and I don't want her to feel like since she's dating me we have to be public about it and make her feel rushed

"No no it's not that I just feel ready...but I'm nervous, my family might be homophobic and not accept me" she said as she looked at me with tears in her eyes

"Oh baby, it doesn't matter! You continue to be you no matter how they take it, they're accepting? That's amazing, they aren't? Ok that's fine because at the end of the day you got me ok? I would never leave you ever anna shumate" I said and she gave me that infamous smile

"There's that smile, I came out at the age of 14, it took a little while for my mom to warm up to it but now she's accepting, they might be accepting at first but give it time" I told her and she nodded

We walked to the living and surprisingly everyone was already there and she looked at me

"Go on princess it's ok" I said to her softly, she loved when I called her princess, I only call her that because she's so beautiful that she could be a princess

"Mom...dad I need to tell you something" she said fidgeting with her fingers and biting her lip standing right infront of her parents, she only does those things when she's nervous

"I like girls and ags my girlfriend" she said smiling brightly at the girlfriend part as she hand motioned me to come to her

I did and I stood next to her as her mother smiled and so did her dad

"Honey we aren't gonna love you any less because of that, you're my baby I'll love you no matter what and ags a good kid" her mom said as we both blushed at the ending

"Ag Keep our Girl Safe" her dad said "yes sir, I plan on keeping this one for a long time" I said grabbing her hand and interlocking our fingers

"I love you kiddo" her dad said "i love you too, now I'm gonna go celebrate with my girl" I said "don't be loud—" her mom said "MOM!" She said making her mom laugh "im kidding but please- Anna don't be loud" she said

"We won't" I said as we ran upstairs and immediately turned on music
