We arrive to a place where they sell beef and other kinds of meats and all kinda fancy dishes.
They get us a big table where we all sit and look through the menu.

"Today we come to a fancy place to celebrate Andrew's welcoming!
That... and that Adam is finally coming with us for a night out."

"Thanks a lot, I hope to get along with everyone and to work alongside you all."

"A great speech from the new guy."

Said one of my coworkers mid-jokingly.
He's named Joseph. A man in his 40's.

"It's good to come out once in a while" I said.

"And we are glad to have you here. Now, remember that today it's on me. There's no need to hold back."

We all order all sorts of meat and chicken dishes.
It's not the proper high society fancy places that I know exists. But it definitely feels high quality place.

"You ordered beef? I thought you would be vegan. I only see you eating vegetables and fruits." Said june, another co-worker. She seems to have ordered pasta with mushrooms and vegetables.

You see me eating?

"Well I'm not vegan or anything like that but I appreciate fruits and vegetables the same, so i don't eat meat too often."

It's the way of life and I understand that people eat living beings. Even so I avoid eating animals as much as i can.

"So, do you live close to the office, new guy?"

They start questioning Andrew. They seem curious of him.
The same happened when I started.
Good thing I avoided sharing something i shouldn't.

"Yeah, close enough. I moved to an apartment around."

"Oh! You just moved? From where?"

I have a strange cold feeling from him the moment they ask that.

"W-well... I come from around..."

He seems nervous.

"Have you moved places often?" I ask him.

"Y-yeah something like that."

Figures.
I also tend to change location constantly so I can understand him.
Though why did he suddenly get so nervous from that question?

"So now you'll be working with Adam ehh Andrew?" Asks Joseph

"Yes! I'll be learning everything I can from him!"

He seems to have calmed down. And the strange feeling goes away too.

"We'll you'll be in good hands as he seems very capable and good at teaching."

You flatter me.

"Though you may have problems with his personality."

Ouch.

"Hey don't say that!" June interrupts Joseph and gives him a look of annoyance, then looks to me apologetically.

"What? I just mean how he's too tight laced."

I tend to avoid getting too close so I seem like so.

"It would be good if you relaxed from time to time. You're too strict."

Some other people say so.
I don't like dealing with this situations.

"I don't think that's the case."

Andrew?

"While he has teached today I don't think he's strict or tight laced."
